Excel In English!Art & Photography

This is a highly practical and enjoyable course that focuses on images, colour and different materials. Students are encouraged to have fun using their cameras;

the perfect photograph opportunity could be just around the corner!

Throughout the course students continuously use the photographs to express their growing knowledge of British culture. Students also develop individual sketch books during the course, which they can take home after the programme.

Business and MarketingThis is the perfect course for students who wish to gain a glimpse into the dynamic world of business. There is an opportunity to build appropriate vocabulary

related to business and marketing while developing a basic understanding of current theory and practice in marketing.

It is exciting and challenging and enables students to build their English language abilities in a business context.

DramaThis course covers the fundamentals of drama combined with practice and performance techniques; it is a truly unique and fun way to learn English.

Students also learn how actors and actresses use their voice and body correctly on stage to ensure they are in tip top condition to put on a spectacular end of programme production. In addition improvisation, presentation and creative writing skills are also developed.

English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and British Culture

This course is an exciting combination of subjects where students learn about the social, cultural and traditional aspects of British life.

Students are given the opportunity to develop their English conversation and language skills as well as discovering fascinating facts about the British culture.

Film-MakingStudents explore how to write, design, film, edit and produce a short film in this hands-on course. It allows students to create their own animated film using a

range of professional techniques and equipment.

This is an opportunity to work behind the camera, or for those who prefer to be centre stage, in front of the camera. There is even the opportunity to interview fellow students!

“UK2Learn is excellent value for money. There are a wide range of activities and the students are never bored. The programmes are so much fun and so exciting that the students often forget that they are learning at the same time!”

Royal Connections HRH Prince Michael of Kent is patron of the Oxford Quality programme, provided in partnership by RELOD and UK2Learn, which aims to help educational institutions in Russia provide better quality education in English.

In 2009 UK2Learn had the great honour of welcoming HRH to the programme celebrations where he enjoyed meeting students, teachers and parents. UK2Learn is honoured that HRH fully supports the aims and objects of this programme.

Charity Support UK2Learn is proud to support the Kwasa Centre in South Africa. The Kwasa Centre is in an incredibly deprived area of South Africa and helps meet the needs of children infected or affected by HIV and AIDS. It provides a safe and secure environment for more than 200 children.

Having lived in South Africa as a child, the Kwasa Centre is close to Suzie Mackie’s heart and therefore it is the centre of UK2Learn’s fundraising efforts. More than £2,000 has been raised in the past three years, which has helped purchase equipment for the school, bicycles for the young children and the sponsorship of one of the children for a year.

“This was the first time I have worked with international students, and it was fantastic. I learnt so much from them, and I hope that I helped them understand more about the UK and our traditions.”
