The recent publication of the book Social generativity: a relational paradigm for so-cial change (Routledge, 2018) represents an excellent opportunity to gather some among the most authoritative scholars from all over the world for an international debate.Social generativity, a sociological paradigm based on empirical studies in the Italian context, has grown popular in recent years as a key concept to interpret the origin of 2008 crisis and to identify new positive ways out of it.In particular, the conference will explore key analytical dimensions (11 October, morning), theoretical foundations (11 Oc-tober, afternoon) and policy implications of the concept (12 October).
