Socio-economic Priorities
• Irrigation: increasing amount of arable land to generate more income – first projects identified
• Agriculture: improvement of crops – fertilisation and improved seedscounter narcotics: (1) five year plan, (2) GOA officials first, (3) dealers / market next
• Infrastructure• Dept. of Rehabilitation and Rural Development• USAID• CERP• USACE (AED)
• Health: coaching local med personnel to increase Afghan capacity in conjunction with AHDS; also ANA medics
• Education: starting school project in Chora and supporting in TK / DR; bigger plans soon – Afghan funding available
