games published in 2002 by
the U.S. Army.

gamification to attract new
recruits and generally
promote awareness of the
U.S. armed forces.

were hitting shopping malls and
public events. More than a
decade in the making, the U.S.
Army has turned its knowledge
and experience of training games
into a powerful recruiting tool.

developed to train and
educate U.S. Army soldiers.

Franklin Mills shopping center in

million but it allowed the Army to
test different game configurations
