Program Overview A degree in human services is ideal for students who would like to make a career out of helping others. Graduates in the human services field reach out to individuals, families, and communities. The course work includes topics such as understanding diversity, aging, helping relationships, field experience and an internship, first aid in fitness settings, human growth and development, nonprofit management, social problems, community and social movements. The human services degree provides you with the skills to work in a variety of public outreach organizations and relate to clients on multiple levels. Graduates work in a variety of fields such as nursing, psychiatry, psychology, rehabilitative or physical therapy and social work. A degree in human services is ideal for students who would like to make a career out of helping others. Graduates in the

human services field reach out to individuals, families, and communities.
