Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS, formerly called Internet Information Server) is a set of Internet-based services for servers using Microsoft Windows. It is the world's second most popular web server in terms of overall websites, behind Apache HTTP Server. You can customize the start-up programs in order to make your system start faster.

Click Run on the Start menu, and type msconfig in the text box. And click OK to open the System Configuration Utility. Click the Startup tab, and you'll see a list of all your start-up programs (or known as auto loading programs), each with a check box. Uncheck an item, and it will no longer load at startup.
