• Keynote is simpler and more elegant and has a significantly higher number of backgrounds and presets.

• Keynote has precision smart guides.

• Keynote offers the alpha tool, which allows users to remove the background of drawings.

• Much smoother slide transition and greater variety.

• Keynote remote!

Prezi

Prezi is a multimedia presentation software application similar to Power Point and Keynote. Prezi is used as a bridge between linear and non-linear information, and as a presentation tool for sharing ideas, whether in a free or a structured manner.

Prezi

Prezi

• In fact, it is a totally different concept.

• A Prezi presentation looks like a small film in which the elements of each screenshot - images, videos, text - do not have a predetermined order, and in which there is no established linear order, templates or layouts.

• The presenter does not have to adhere to the 'slides' typical of PowerPoint presentations; instead, the narration flows at the rhythm he or she desires.

Prezi

• There are 4 formats: 1 is free and the other 3 are paid.

• Free. This is an online format and presentations are publically viewable (100 Mb of storage).

• Personal 1 ($59/year). Online support, private presentations. 4 Gb of storage. Customised logo.

• Personal 2 ($159/year). Personal 1 + unlimited storage. It is possible to work offline. Higher-quality image processing.

• Corporate.

Prezi vs competitors

• Prezi is a management tool rather than a tool for creating.

• It is ideal for making concept maps and interactive presentations.

• It is very useful for teachers, children, and captive audiences.

• It adds nothing beyond what is already available for conference presentations.
