Go to Settings block Choose Edit settings Set Format, Starting date and Password (Users
need this password to access the course) Other setting let the default as it is or you can set the
values when needed At the end click Save Changes

Setting Course Blocks
In the course, Go to Settings block Choose Turn editing on Click on Pen icon to edit summary Fill up in the fields required At the end click Save changes

Upload Resources In the course block,
Select File from Add resource… dropdown menu Fill in the required fields of General setting area and choose
Add button in Content area Choose Upload a file from File picker popup window Click Choose a file button and select a file from your
computer After you select a file click Upload this file button Check other setting that applies to your file setting or Click Save and return to course button Repeat the same to upload other files

Setting/Posting Assignments
In the course block,1. Select Upload a single file from Add an activity… dropdown
menu.2. Fill or set appropriate values in the required fields on the page
Adding a new Assignment.3. Set appropriate value for grade points in the Grade field4. Check other setting that applies to your file setting or 5. Click Save and return to course button.

User Enrollment
In the course1. Go to Settings block 2. Choose Users3. Click Enrolled users
i. Click Enroll users ii. Here, you can enroll users manually from the list

Activate an automatic enrollment for students
1. Go to Settings block 2. Choose Users3. Click Enrollment methods
4. Here, activate Self enrolment (Student) opening the symbol of eye.
5. Self Enrollment Settingi. Click on Pen icon to edit settingii. Check the fields and set appropriate values if needed.iii. Set Allow self enrollment to Yesiv. Set an Enrollment key for the course (Teachers need to provide
this enrollment key to the students)v. At the end click Save Changes

Grade Assignments and Post Feedback
In the course block1. Click on the link of assigned assignment 2. Click on View … submitted assignments .3. Find the column Status in the e-portfolio of the
assignments, choose a student to grade and click Grade
4. A page Feedback appears set all the fields with appropriate values. Especially Grade and Feedback
5. Click Save Changes or Save and show next

Download Grade Sheets In the page of the course,1. Go to Settings block2. Click on Grades3. Choose Export->Excel Spreadsheet from the Grader report drop
down menu 4. Select and tick() the options applicable and click on Submit
Button5. Click the Download button and save the file in appropriate location
of your computer

Bulk Messaging
By this feature you can select all or some students and send message or instructions.1. Go to Navigation block 2. Click on Participants3. Click Select all button if you want to select all
students other wise apply tick mark to select particular student(s).
4. Select Send message from Choose… dropdown option. (Be sure all students are listed on the page. If not you can find and click Show all option)
