SYSTEM

USB SETTINGHere you can make settings for USB audio when this unit is connected to a computer via USB.

Parameter Value Explanation

PRE EFFECT : OUT 0–200%Adjusts the level of the sound following the external FX LOOP before it passes through the internal effects and the CAB/MIC simulation.

PRE EFFECT : IN 0–200%

Inputs the sound from the computer in front of the internal effects. At this time, the sound from the computer is mixed with the sound from the guitar amp.

LINE OUT : OUT 0–200%

Adjusts the level of the sound that passes through the effects of the WAZA Tube Amp Expander and the CAB/MIC simulation and is output from the final stage of LINE OUT to the computer.

LINE OUT : IN 0–200%

Inputs the sound from the computer into the final stage of the internal LINE OUT. At this time, the sound from the computer is mixed with the sound of LINE OUT.

LINE OUT : LOOP BACK OFF, ON

The sound that is input from the computer to the final stage of LINE OUT is mixed with the final stage of LINE OUT and looped-back to the computer.

USB audio flowWAZA Tube Amp Expander provides two USB audio outputs: “LINE“ and “PRE EFFECT.” (On Mac OS, LINE is shown as "1, 2/1-2" and PRE EFFECTS is shown as "3, 4 / 3-4.")LINE outputs the effect sound from LINEOUT; the return from the computer is mixed with the signal from the tube amp (guitar’s performance) at the final stage of LINE OUT. The sound returned from the computer can also be looped-back to LINE.PRE EFFECT outputs the sound from immediately after the external FX LOOP located at the first stage of the WAZA Tube Amp Expander’s internal effects, and the return from the computer is mixed in front of the WAZA Tube Amp Expander’s internal effects.Since the WAZA Tube Amp Expander is outputting to the computer from each of LINE, and PRE EFFECT, you can provide two tracks for guitar and simultaneously record the LINE sound and the PRE EFFECT sound. If you are not satisfied with the effect sound from LINE OUT, you can play back the sound that was simultaneously recorded from PRE EFFECT, and pass it through the effect chain of the WAZA Tube Amp Expander to remake the sound.
