Verbal Judo Instructor Course Train the Trainer Nov 28 – Dec 2, 2016 Portland, Oregon

The Verbal Judo Institute is conducting a 40-hour Instructor & Recertification Course

that will authorize students to teach Verbal Judo to their agency staff and bring current

who are in need of recertification. This is an international program that has been

delivered to over 1,000,000 graduates world-wide.

This interactive training session will keep your interest through entire week. You will

learn the tactics, demonstrate them in a mock contact and can take these important

concepts back to train fellow employees in your organization.

Instructor: Doug Haig, Vice President of the Verbal Judo Institute

Cost: $1,195.00 includes: Training manual, CD, Power Point presentation,

DVD, Tac Card, book and other training tools. Recertification fee is

$895.00 includes all the above training material listed.

Cascade Station Shopping Center is a fifteen minute walk from the Embassy Suites

Portland Airport or our shuttle will be more than happy to drop you off anywhere in that

vicinity. The Embassy Shuttle will also pick you up and drop you off at the airport with a

phone call. The Cascade Station has tons of shopping (tax-free) and over a dozen choices

in food and beverage. There is a Target and an IKEA.

Transporttion

The Trimet MAX Lightrail consists of several different lines (named by color). The red

line runs out to the airport. The Mt. Hood Station is a 5 minute walk from Embassy

Suites. There is also the Cascade Station in the heart of the Cascade Station Shopping

Center. The red line can be taken all the way downtown without changing trains and

passes the Lloyd Center (http://www.lloydcenter.com/) and Pioneer Place

(https://www.pioneerplace.com/en.html), runs along part of the Willamette River

waterfront in Downtown Portland (http://www.southwaterfront.com/). A day-pass is $5

and is good for all Trimet services: buses, streetcars, and trains.
