Viom Networks has won the prestigious Golden Peacock Occupational Health and Safety Award for2013 in the telecom category for its leadership in safety and health initiatives across itsoperations. The Golden Peacock Occupational Health and Safety Award recognizeachievements in raising standards of health, safety and workplace wellbeing. The Awardinstituted by the Institute of Directors (IOD) further strengthens Viom Networks proactivesafety culture led by its senior management, the involvement of employees in all aspectsof responsible care and its active approach towards sustainable service stewardship.

Winning the coveted Golden Peacock Award adds to the companys impetus in rapidly acceleratingthe pace of activities for better health and safety management systems and encouragesholistic organizational excellence on these critical performance parameters. Viom Networkswas selected as a winner by an eminent jury chaired by Justice P N Bhagwati, former Chief
Justice of India and Member, UN Human Rights Commission. Promoting employee healthand safety is an essential element of Viom Networks corporate philosophy. The companyencourages its workforce to take personal responsibility for safety and reducing accidents
and incidents across all its locations and encompassing both Viom Networks owned sitesand vendor partnerships.
The award recognizes the initiatives undertaken by Viom Networks and its commitment in adheringto global best practices is reflected in its quality, occupational health and safety policies. In 2010,Viom Networks became the first Indian telecom infrastructure company to receive the ISO 14001and OHSAS 18001 certification. Since then, the company has successfully renewed thesecertifications as a result of successfully implementing and internalizing the international standardsof Environment Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System(OHSAS) initiatives.
