and
Ÿ promote welfare of senior citizens and
orphans by providing them with much
needed resources
VISIONThe Veni Rao Foundation was inspired by
Late Smt. Trinadha Veni & Late Shri Appa Rao,
parents of the Founder Trustee, Mrs. Ratna Reddy.
Shri Appa Rao always valued the support he received from
benevolent well-wishers, which helped him immensely as he
pursued his studies and became successful in life. Veni Rao
Foundation marks respect to their contributions to CHIREC and
aims to continue their legacy of reaching out to the
underprivileged to help them come up in life.
INSPIRATION
The Veni Rao Foundation is a community initiative undertaken by
CHIREC International to improve the quality of life of students and
senior citizens. Since its inception, CHIREC has been actively
contributing towards the wellbeing of those in need. The Veni Rao
Foundation was established in 2018 to serve as an umbrella for all of
CHIREC's Community initiatives.

We believe that the only way to
bring about a long-term, positive
change in our society is through
education. Despite improved
access to higher education, there
are still many deserving students
from low-income families who are
unable to pursue their education.
To encourage such students to
complete higher education, the
Foundation has introduced the
'Veni Rao Scholarship for Higher
Education'. The Veni Rao
Foundation awarded 28 students
from Telangana and Andhra
Pradesh and ve students from the
adopted government schools who
were the toppers in Grade X.
The scholarships were awarded on
28th July 2018, 20th September
2018 and 3rd October 2018.
