On behalf of the Benalla Auto Club and Winton Motor Raceway, we would like to welcome you to the first round of the 2012 Victorian Motor Racing Championships. Categories on the program this weekend are Formula Ford, Formula Vee, Porsche 944s, HQ Holdens, Improved Production, Super TT, Under 2 Litre Sports Sedans, Miniature Race Cars and Saloon Cars. Four races will be held in each category, with race distances of six, eight and 10 laps. We wish all competitors and crews a successful and enjoyable weekend at Winton Motor Raceway and look forward to seeing you at the track for the second round of the Victorian Motor Racing Championship on June 9 and 10. Entries

The organisers accept entries and drivers’ nominations in good faith. Every effort is made to adhere to the printed programme of competitors, but the promoters cannot accept responsibility for the failure of any driver to appear. Although every endeavour is made to avoid inaccuracies in the description of compet-ing cars, the organisers accept no responsibility for any that may occur. The organisers reserve the right to postpone, abandon or cancel the meeting or any part thereof.

The meeting will be conducted under the National Competition Rules of the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance and General Supplementary Regulations issued by Winton Motor Raceway P/L authorized under permit no: AASA031010/W103

Prohibited Areas

The organizing committee of today’s races has made every effort to ensure the safety of specta-tors at this meeting. In the interest of public safety , all areas other than official spectator areas are PHOHIBITED. The spectator areas are plainly defined and spectators are requested to keep behind safety fences at all times. In the event of an accident on the circuit, the public MUST remain behind the safety fences as their entry to the track may cause further accidents or hinder officials.

Motor Racing is Dangerous

All persons are reminded that Motor Racing is dangerous and accidents can and do happen. All care is taken to protect you but you are warned that there is a possibility of an accident causing injuries, death or property damage. By your admission to Winton Motor Raceway you hereby acknowledge that the entry to the racing has a degree of danger and the promoter, clubs, corporations, organisations and persons having any connections with the promoting, organising or conduct of the event shall have no liability to you except in regard to any rights you may have arising under the Trade Practice Act 74.

Safety

The fencing erected around the circuit is there for you protection. It is forbidden to sit, stand or climb on it.

Dogs

In the interest of safety, dogs are not permitted at the raceway.

Anti-Litter

Please help keep Winton Motor Raceway tidy.
