A SEASON OF FUN AT THE BOATHOUSETHE POOLS…

FOR M ANY, the pools were the highlight of the summer at the Club. All ages loved the two heated pools, especially during the cooler June and July

months, when warm beach days were rare. The lifeguards had no serious incidents all summer, but parents enjoyed the comfort of their vigilance, while children enjoyed their constant attention. Many of the younger children received daily swimming instruction and the more proficient swim-mers participated in a vigorous 1.5 hours of “Swim Team” practice twice a week. Adults truly enjoyed the luxury of

relaxing by the pools, sunbathing, reading and socializing, with the ever present wait-staff looking after their needs. The cabanas provided the perfect setting for members to enjoy the added comfort, shade and amenities that they offered. The poolside terrace restaurant and snack bar received rave reviews and was busy all summer. For many of our members that live in colder US climates, we are sure the thought of idyllic summer days, sipping a cocktail poolside will not be far from their minds during the winter months ahead.
