Second Year Robotics students built and programmed VEX Robot Tumblers. Teams competed against one another and "tumbled" in student created game challenges. Favorite games were "Cone Wars", "Makey Shapie" and "Get to the Goal."
Fab Lab/Marketing
Students in the Fab Lab and marketing classes have been learning how to use the vinyl cutter and provided the LEO Club materials for their eyeglass case project!
In addition, they are busy fulfilling orders for Valentine’s Day. Now is the time to start thinking about Spring and Easter items. Don’t wait until the last minute!!

Class Highlights
Leo Club Lake Alfred Polytech Academy offers
students opportunities to help others in
the Leo Club. LEO stands for
Leadership
Experience
Opportunity
and this service organization is part of
the Lions Club International.
They are very active in school functions
and will be a part of Multicultural Night
on February 13th.
The Lion’s Club is known for their
eyeglass collection stations. Free
eyeglasses and eye exams are provided
for people in need. Our students helped
the local Lions wash the many pairs of
glasses this month. They also took the
glass cases that are not needed and are
decorating them for children with
cancer. The cases were filled with
surprises and delivered to local hospitals.
The LAPA Leo Club is open to
all students. If you are
interested in joining, please see
Ms. Paine.
