Mother-on-duty:Vishwa Vidyapeeth has taken the Mother-on-duty concept which will help us bridge gaps between parents and teachers. As per the scheduled dates, the mothers should arrive on campus and spend the day in school where they will get to see firsthand how the day to day routine of the school is scheduled.

This unique concept has been introduced to allow parents to have more transparency about the school programs and also have an inside view of the school life of a child. As a Mother on Duty, we expect the mother to duly campus and help us to improve with constructive feedback.

Giving Back to the Society:Education should create a good human being. It should not be confined to scoring marks. It should help to develop values. Helping others, instilling dignity of labour, conserving of natural resources are some of the important roles for future generations. We should mould the child to learn to give back to the society rather than always seek from more in return. In line with these thoughts, the school has made some social service activities as part of school curriculum which includes:• Save Water, Live Better: School follows

this pledge and ensure every VVPian knows the importance of water resource and follows water conservation as a way of life – right from the students to teachers to maintenance staff to parents and even the security personnel!

• Seed Ball Making & Dibbling Activity: Resolving to be the Master of Change by regenerating barren dry lands and in continuation to the seed ball campaign, we conducted the ‘Spare A Day – Seed ball Dibbling Activity’. This involved dibbling of seed balls which were made on the occasion of World Environment Day celebration.

• Entrepreneur & Goodwill Club: Students live real-life experiences through these clubs by going out in society and taking up important roles.

• Traffic Signal Awareness Programs: Students performed live Mime programs at different traffic signals in collaboration with Bangalore Traffic Police.

• Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: We took forward our Prime Minister's vision of a Clean India Campaign by celebrating a fortnight program which involved different activities like Cleaning of campus, Cleaning of dining area, Creating awareness with Mime programs in public places, etc. These programs were largely covered and telecast on National Channels.
