Waikerie Lutheran Primary School is a Christ-Centred community equipping each student for life.
The students in Year 1/2 were asked what they enjoyed about school in 2020. Here are some of their
responses:
CORNER OF PEACE
It’s all about trusting faithfulness. We know we can trust our loving Heavenly Father - He sent us His Son to pay
our overwhelming debt that we ourselves cannot pay. So we do not need to see. In that confidence God
blesses us. He reassures us that if we are anxious then pray to Him. And be thankful. When we are thankful fear
flies out the door.
God bless you all today.

Hello everyone!
This week we went around the school and asked some students “What does
Christmas mean to you and what do you like about Christmas?”
Here are some of their responses:
Bradley P: That I get presents. It means that we don’t eat too much lollies
because mum says that they contain too much salt.
Layla: That we get toys and it means we get to see family members.
William: That is it Jesus’ birthday and it means that our Saviour is born.
Savannah: It is our Saviour’s birthday and Christmas means happiness.
Kristen: My family gets together and we have a good time together and
Christmas means happiness.
Jonah: Spending time together. I am not really sure what Christmas means to
me but I know it brings joy to my family.
Hailey: I like seeing people’s faces when they are getting their presents.
Sam: I like getting presents and getting together with family that you haven’t
seen for a while. It means family to me, getting together with friends and family.
Ethan: I like getting presents. Christmas means that I get to spend time with my
family.
Emily: I like seeing my family from all over the country. Christmas means that we
all get to enjoy the time we have and spend it together.
