101 P7 Water Level MeterFeatures:

The Solinst 101 Water Level Meter with P7 Probe features an extremely durable, laser marked PVDF flat tape, with an enhanced dog bone design that is thicker, reducing adherence to the side of well casing.

The PVDF flat tape is laser marked every 1/100 ft or each mm; lengths up to 5000 ft (1500 m). New flat tape has increased tensile strength and electrical efficiency by using 6 strands of copper coated stainless steel and 13 strands of stainless steel in each conductor. The P7 Water Level Meter Probe is engineered to allow submersion to 1000 ft (300 m), replacing the 101 P6 Submersible Probe. Sensor at the tip of the probe provides consistently accurate measurements in wells, boreholes, and cascading water, with almost zero displacement.

101 P2 Water Level MeterSolinst 101 P2 Water Level Meters use non-stretch polyethylene flat tape with heat embossed markings each 1/100 ft or mm. Designed for measuring accurate water levels in wells and boreholes, the rugged free-standing reel is well balanced and ideal for use in the field. The 101 P2 Water Level Meter Probe is very easy to repair. Available in flat tape lengths to 1000 ft (or 300 m).

Model 102 Coaxial Cable Water Level Meter

The Solinst Model 102 Coaxial Water Level Meter is designed to measure groundwater levels, especially in small diameter tubes and piezometers or where a flexible cable is needed. The cable has a heavy-duty jacket and stainless steel coaxial conductors for strength. Permanent markings are precisely laser etched on the cable every 1/100 ft or each millimetre.

The Solinst Tag Line uses a weight attached to a laser marked cable, and is principally designed for use during the installation of monitoring wells. The Tag Line also provides a simple method to measure the depth to the bottom of a well.

The Tag Line is perfect for use when installing Solinst Model 403 CMT Multilevel Systems, as you can easily measure the depth to the top of a backfill sand or bentonite layer during the completion of a well. It is also ideal as a multipurpose marked support cable.

The Tag Line uses durable polyethylene coated 1/16” (1.6 mm) stranded stainless steel wireline with a minimum break strength of 270 lbs (122 kg). It comes in standard lengths of 100 ft to 1000 ft (30 m to 300 m). Other lengths are available by request. The cable is mounted on a sturdy free-standing reel with a carrying handle, weight holder, and brake.

Laser Marked PVDF Flat Tape Model 103The Solinst Model 103 Tag Line is now available with a PVDF flat tape option. New flat tape has increased tensile strength and electrical efficiency by using 6 strands of copper coated stainless steel and 13 strands of stainless steel in each conductor.

102M Mini Laser Marked Water Level Meter

The laser marked coaxial cable is mounted on a convenient small reel that is light-weight and fits easily into a mini carrying case or backpack. The accurate cable is marked each 1/100 ft or each millimetre.

The 102M Mini Water Level Meter is available in 80 ft and 25 m lengths. There is the choice of the P1 or P2 Probe with segmented weights.

PVDF Laser Marked TapeThe extremely durable PVDF flat tape, traceable to NIST and EU measurement standards, contains 13 strands of stainless steel and 6 strands of copper-coated steel, making the tape non-stretch and high in tensile strength and electrical efficiency.

Polyethylene TapeSolinst tapes reel smoothly, remain flexible, and hang straight in the well. Heat embossed markings each millimetre or 1/100 ft allow accurate readings. The 3/8” (10 mm) wide tapes come in lengths up to 6000 ft (1800 m), are easy to repair and splice, and their dog bone design prevents adherence to wet surfaces.

High quality polyethylene tapes contain seven stranded stainless steel conductors which are strong, non-stretch, and resist corrosion.

Tape Options

Standard reels are ergonomically designed for good balance and ease of use, with a stand-alone design, convenient carrying handle and an excellent brake. They are robust and smooth running. The battery is housed in a convenient battery drawer and each reel has a probe holder and brake. The reels are equipped with an on/off sensitivity switch, light, buzzer, and a battery test button.

The mini reel is sturdy, yet very compact and easy to carry.

Probe Options

Solinst Model 122 Interface Meters are easy-to-use and give reliable, accurate measurements. A steady tone and light indicate LNAPL or DNAPL. Intermittent signals indicate water. Solinst flat-tape is available in lengths up to 1500 ft or 450 m and is a pleasure to use.

Mini 122M Interface MeterThe Mini 122 Interface Meter reel holds 65 ft or 20 m of narrow flat tape on a convenient small reel. It offers long battery life with only one standard 9V battery, giving 300 hours or more of normal use before the battery needs changing.

The Model 107 TLC Meter is ideal for profiling conductivity and temperature in wells and open water, for salt-water intrusion studies, and a general indication of contamination levels. The 3/4” (19 mm) diameter probe is attached to Solinst PVDF flat tape; accurately laser marked every 1/100 ft or each millimetre. Lengths up to 1000 ft or 300 m, mounted on a Solinst reel. The conductivity range is from 0-80,000 µS/cm. Conductivity and temperature measurements are displayed on a rotating LCD screen on the face of the reel. Conductivity accuracy is 5% of reading or 100 μS (whichever is greater). A light and buzzer are briefly activated when the zero point of the probe enters water. The depth to water and depth of displayed readings are read off the tape. The 9V alkaline battery is housed in an easy-access battery drawer and provides up to 90 hours of use.

Model 3001 Levelogger EdgeThe Levelogger Edge has improved stability and reliability with the introduction of the new Hastelloy pressure sensor and titanium based PVD coating. Both elements add increased corrosion resistance in harsh environments, as well as making readings more stable in extreme pressure and temperature conditions.

The Levelogger Edge features a wider temperature compensated pressure range (0 to 50ºC, -10 to 50ºC for Barologger Edge), and improved thermal response time. The Hastelloy sensor can withstand 2 times over-pressure without permanent damage.

Improved SoftwareThe new Levelogger PC Software is more streamLined, making it easier to program dataloggers and view and compensate data. The Levelogger Junior Edge records absolute pressure using the same durable Hastelloy pressure sensor as the Levelogger Edge. Model 3001 LTC Levelogger Junior

The LTC Levelogger Junior logs conductivity, as well as water level and temperature. It is simple to clean and calibrate, even in the field, and it is easy to transport, program, deploy and retrieve data.

It combines a datalogger, 5 year battery, pressure transducer, and temperature and conductivity sensors within a small waterproof housing, 7/8” x 7.5” (22 mm x 190 mm). The conductivity sensor is a 4-electrode platinum sensor with auto-ranging capabilities. Memory is non-volatile and stores up to 16,000 sets of readings. Measurements are linear in any interval between 5 seconds and 99 hours.

The 3002 Rainlogger is designed for use with Levelogger Gold Software and most standard tipping-bucket rain gauges. Compact in design, this durable field unit offers long-term reliability with a 10-year battery, and non-volatile memory for up to 40,000 readings. Rainfall level per sampling period and a five-minute maximum rainfall are logged with sampling set at 5 min to 99 hrs.

Compatible with Solinst Telemetry Systems, Rainloggers are excellent for measuring local precipitation, larger scale remote monitoring of watersheds, and localized storm water event monitoring. Levelogger Gold customers can now add precipitation data to their water level monitoring networks.

Model 3001 Leveloader GoldThe Leveloader Gold is a field-ready, backwards compatible data transfer unit designed for use with all versions of the Solinst Levelogger, Rainlogger and Barologger. It is used to download, store and transfer multiple data files, using 8 Mb of non-volatile Flash memory.

The Leveloader Gold has a rugged, water-resistant, ergonomic exterior and stores up to 1,390,000 LT readings, 930,000 LTC readings, or 34 full Levelogger downloads. Stored data can be scrolled through before transfer to a PC. The Leveloader Gold can also be used to display data in real-time, which is ideally suited for conducting conventional pumping tests.

Field FriendlyField-located Leveloggers can be reprogrammed on site with a ‘future start’ or ‘start now’ option. For convenience, up to 10 personalized settings files can be pre-programmed in the Levelogger PC Software at the office and transferred to the Leveloader Gold for use in the field. These settings files each store a customized sampling regime, instrument location, and identification. The Leveloader Gold can be synchronized to your PC clock. In turn, you can synchronize Levelogger times to the Leveloader time, to maintain consistency between field deployed Leveloggers.

The Leveloader Gold also displays useful information on battery life, memory levels, and firmware versions for both the Leveloader itself and the attached Levelogger. As with the Levelogger, the Leveloader Gold has upgradeable firmware which allows future improvements to be added to older units. Users can download and install any future improvement to the onboard software, free of charge. For security, there is password protection built into the Leveloader, which can prevent unauthorized changes to the Levelogger settings, logging sessions, or stored data.

Transferring DataThe Leveloader Gold eliminates the need for a laptop or PDA. The Leveloader uses proprietary software and hardware which is dedicated to the Levelogger Series of dataloggers. Model 407 Bladder PumpThe Solinst Bladder Pump allows consistent, high quality samples in all types of applications. It offers excellent performance and reliability. It is designed to meet the most rigorous US EPA standards for groundwater monitoring.

The Teflon bladder ensures that drive air or gas does not contact the sample, thus avoiding degassing or contamination of the sample. Pumps are rugged and long lasting. Both bladders and intake filters are easily replaced in the field in just a few minutes.

Solinst offers 1.66” diameter (42mm) pumps in 316 stainless steel or PVC in 2ft and 4ft lengths (610mm and 1220mm). Stainless steel pumps are ideal for low flow sampling or regular flow sampling from lift depths up to 500 ft (150m) below grade. The 1.66” PVC operates up to 100 ft (30m) below grade and the 1” (25mm) stainless steel operates to depths of 250ft (80m).

407 Bladder Pumps are manufactured from 316 stainless steel and have Teflon check balls. The bladder most frequently used is Teflon, however polyethylene bladders are also available. This is the ideal sampling pump for most types of municipal, industrial and general environmental applications, especially where VOC analysis of the sample is important.

For metals analysis and situations with highly corrosive liquids, the PVC is more suitable. It has a Teflon bladder and check balls and a porous polyethylene screen. The low cost of the PVC pump also makes this a perfect choice for situations where there is a limited budget, but dedicated bladder pumps would be preferred.

Model 408 Double Valve PumpThe Solinst Double Valve Pump (DVP) is a pneumatic drive pump that allows consistent, high quality samples. It has been field proven in hundreds of applications. It offers excellent performance and reliability, no bladder replacement, and higher pumping rates than with the Bladder Pump, a selection of sizes and materials; variable flow rates, and is field serviceable. The DVP is suitable for low flow or regular flow sampling and can operate to depths of 2000 ft (600 m).

Easy Decontamination: Everything easily accessible, replaceable, and with interchangeable parts. All components can be cleaned with mild detergent or non-phosphate soap.

PowerA 12 ft (4 m) long power cord uses alligator clips to allow easy connection to almost any 12 volt DC power source that can supply at least 3-5 amps at maximum draw, such as auto, marine or small gel cell battery. It may be connected directly to your vehicle battery.

Sampling RatesThe Solinst Peristaltic Pump has variable pumping rates and can be fitted with 2 different sizes of silicon pump-head tubing. With the standard 5/8” OD (16 mm) tubing, it delivers from 120 mL/min to almost 3.5 L/min.

The optional 3/8” OD (10 mm) tubing adaptor kit allows a sample rate up to 900 mL/min and as low as 40 mL/min. This rate is ideal for low-flow sampling and the filling of small sample bottles.

The Micro Double Valve Pump (Micro DVP) has a remarkably small and flexible design. It is a pneumatic pump similar to a Bladder Pump, but using coaxial Teflon tubing, rather than a Teflon bladder to give high quality samples. It is small enough to fit in 1/2” (13 mm) tubing and all channels of the Solinst Model 403 CMT Systems as its diameter is only 3/8” (10 mm). The unique combination of flexibility and size make the pump easy to transport and install in a variety of applications.

The Micro DVP is ideal for low flow sampling and narrow down-hole applications. Flow rates of 20 to 150 mL/min are obtained with very small associated purge volumes from within the narrow applications. The Micro DVP is durable and easy to operate using the pre-sets and fine tubing capabilities built into the Solinst Model 464 Electronic Control Unit.

Model 408M Micro Double Valve Pump

The Solinst Model 425 is a stainless steel sampler with LDPE tubing mounted on the convenient Solinst reel. The reel has a pressure attachment for the high pressure hand pump and a pressure/vent switch which is used to apply and release the pressure on the sampler.

The Solinst Model 601 Standpipe Piezometer is designed to be

placed within a drilled hole to provide a filtered inlet point. The

pointed PVC tip is also suitable for pushing into very loose sands

at the base of a borehole, a stream, or into very loose tailings

pond sediments.

The 601 is excellent for metals sampling, as it is composed of

a preformed Vyon tube set inside a perforated PVC piezometer

tip. The Model 601 is well suited for water level monitoring,

permeability measurements, construction control, de-watering

drainage operations, and slope stability investigations.

The 601 tip connects to the surface with 3/4" ID PVC riser

pipe using slip-fit couplings. Reducer couplings can also be used

to connect to other sizes of riser pipe or casing. The standard

Model 800 Low Pressure PackersThese simple, inexpensive packers inflate with a hand pump and are available in two sizes, designed for pneumatic inflation at pressures from 20-50 psi (140-345 kPa) above hydrostatic pressure. Primarily for use in 2” and 4” (50 mm and 100 mm) monitoring wells, they can also be used in smooth boreholes and wells with 1.9” - 5” (48.26 – 127 mm) inside diameters.

The Packers utilize a gland of black carbon reinforced rubber (BCR) on a Sch 80 PVC body. They are easily lowered on flexible low density polyethylene (LDPE) tubing or a rigid PVC drop pipe. If a rigid drop tube is not required for your application, it is recommended to attach a safety line to the eyebolt provided.

The Solinst Model 103 Tag Line provides a convenient, graduated support cable that can be used for this purpose as well as for measuring placement depth. The inflation line of 1/8” (3 mm) low density polyethylene (LDPE) is easily attached using the nylon compression fittings on each packer.

Single or Straddle PackersSolinst packers are ideal for use with Bladder Pumps or Double Valve Pumps, which can be easily attached above the packers. The water inlet can be below a single packer or through perforated pipe fitted between straddle packers. When used with Solinst Leveloggers, they can be suspended below or between packers from the eyebolt on the bottom of the packer for hydraulic conductivity testing.

Model 660 Drive-Point ProfilerThe Model 660 Profiler is designed to allow collection of samples from multiple points in a single drive/drilling location at discrete zones. It allows:

• Detailed plume delineation

• Contaminant vs. depth profiling

The Model 660 Profiler is a modified version of the profiling device developed at the University of Waterloo and described in a paper presented at the 1994 NGWA Outdoor Action Conference. The Model 660 can be installed with a rig that pushes, hammers or vibrates the Profiler into suitable sands. It uses AW rod and can be adapted to attach to the custom rod used by some rigs.

The Profiler has a 1.75” (45 mm) dia. AW stainless steel tip with one row of screened inlet holes set circumferentially. The inlet holes lead to a single stainless steel, LDPE or Teflon sample line which attaches to a pump, typically a Peristaltic Pump.

Sealing Profiler HolesHoles in most homogenous sands will collapse as soon as the Profiler is withdrawn. In other geologic formations it is best to use a profiler fitted with a grout tip. The grout tip is a single use tip that can be separated from the Profiler with a high-pressure grout pump after sampling is complete. This allows the hole to be grout sealed as the Profiler is being withdrawn, ensuring no void spaces.

Depth LimitationsDrive-Point Profilers are not suitable for all sites. The depth limitations vary, especially with soil conditions, the drive technology used, and the pumping system used to inject deionized water and withdraw samples. The Peristaltic Pump is used for most applications, but a Double Valve Pump can also be adapted for deeper applications.

There is no limit to the distance between sample depths when using the Profiler and samples each foot are often chosen. Most drill rigs with AW rod will have the capability to advance the profiler. A tubing by-pass will need to be supplied with the AW drill rod to allow the sample line to exit the rods.

The Hydrolift-2 is a portable, electrically operated device that is used to automate the operation of the Inertial Pump. The Hydrolift is powered by a 3/4 horsepower electric motor (available in either 110 volt or 220 volt) and generates a

4 inch stroke at up to 200 cycles per minute. The Hydrolift II weighs only 35 pounds and requires an electrical power supply of at least 1000 watts.

This actuator is optimized to operate with the Standard Flow System up to its maximum effective depth and will operate with the High Flow System up to a depth of 150 feet.

This actuator is the ideal choice for the frequent user of the Inertial Pumping System with moderate to extreme pumping requirements.

Waterra Manual & autoMated PuMP actuatorS

The Waterra Lever Pump was designed to provide operators with a convenient, portable mechanism which would provide some mechanical advantage when manually operating the Inertial Pump as well as facilitating the collection of samples with this system.

This actuator will fasten onto most above ground well completions quickly and easily. The tubing clamp is designed to accept both Standard Flow and High Flow tubing and the handle is adjustable in order to accommodate various casing diameters and desired stroke lengths. The Lever Pump weighs approximately 7 pounds.

Lever Pump

The Waterra PowerPump-2 is the most powerful pump actuator manufactured by Waterra. A Honda GX100, 3 horsepower, 4 stroke, gasoline motor powers this device.

This actuator generates a 6 inch stroke and can operate both the Standard Flow System and High Flow System to their maximum effective

depths. The PowerPump-2 weighs 70 pounds and usually requires two people to carry it.

The PP1 is powerful enough to lift water from over 60m depth using the Standard Flow System, and is so compact that it fits onto a backpack frame. The PowerPack-PP1 incorporates clamps for Waterra High Flow and Standard tubing sizes (adaptors are available for smaller tubes).

WS Water Level SensorsThe Waterra WS Water Level Sensors are advanced products utilizing the most recent electronic technology. These sensors have been designed to offer the user the best features available at an affordable price.

The WS Water Level Sensors feature enclosed plastic reels that protect the tape and will not corrode. They are made from black polyethylene and their lightweight and slim profile make them very portable. The more traditional open reels with probe holder and brake are also available.

The polyethylene coated 3/8” stainless steel flat tape is available in both metric and imperial graduations. (Metric tapes are graduated to the nearest millimetre; imperial tapes are graduated to the nearest 1/100 of a foot) The tape is manufactured with a probe connector at one end and a circuit board connector at the other. This allows the tape or the probe to be quickly and easily replaced should either become damaged.

A water resistant front enclosure on the WS-1 contains the circuit board, piezo buzzer, LEDs and batteries that power the meter. Access to this compartment is gained by removing two screws.The WS-1 is powered by four AA batteries. The front of the electronics enclosure is covered by a membrane on/off switch. The sensitivity adjustment is also located on the front of the electronics enclosure.

The sensitivity adjustment allows the unit to be set specifically to a wide range of water salinities, allowing the user to dial out the false readings caused by cascading water.

The sensor’s probe is 5/8” diameter and is constructed from 316 stainless steel.The probe is snapped into the side of the reel in a probe holder when not in use.

HS Oil/Water Interface SensorsThe Waterra HS Oil/Water Interface Sensors represent some of the most advanced technology available today for hydrocarbon product layer measurement. These devices utilize sophisticated ultrasonic sensors to help define the product layer. Tests have shown that these sensors are more sensitive in a broader range of hydrocarbon products than conventional optical systems.

The HS-1 is available with either a 30 metre or a 100 foot tape, and the HS-1L is available with tapes in metric units of 50, 75 or 100 metres or 250 foot tapes.

The HS line of Oil/Water Interface Sensors are available on either a compact plastic “Caddy type” reel, which completely encloses the tape, or on the traditional open reel. The Caddy reel is constructed from rugged black polyethylene. Their lightweight and slim profile make them very portable. The open reels include a probe holder and brake.

The polyethylene coated 3/8” stainless steel flat tape is available in both metric and imperial graduations. (Metric tapes are graduated to the nearest millimetre; imperial tapes are graduated to the nearest 1/100 of a foot). The tape is manufactured with a probe connector at one end and a circuit board connector at the other. All of the electronic components in the HS reel are contained within a water resistant enclosure located on the front of the reel. The face plate of the enclosure is covered by the membrane switch label which contains the on/off switch and the various high intensity LEDs.

The electronics enclosure can be opened by removing two screws from the face plate, allowing the operator to replace the four AA batteries which power the meter. The electronics enclosure also contains the buzzer.

The sensor’s probe is 5/8” diameter and is constructed from stainless steel. The probe is snapped into the side of the reel in a probe holder when not in use.

All interface meters indicate the presence and thickness of a hydrocarbon layer with the use of two different switches. One switch is designed to detect the presence of liquids (liquid level switch), the second switch is designed to detect the presence of conductive liquids (conductivity switch). Since hydrocarbons are nonconductive, they will only trigger the first switch, whereas water, being conductive, will activate both switches. When both switches are activated, the meters are designed only to display the conductivity switch result. In this way the units can distinguish between water and hydrocarbons.

Most meters use an optical sensor to detect hydrocarbons. The Waterra interface meter uses an ultrasonic transducer. The transducer beams an ultrasonic signal at a reflector plate which is not strong enough to be reflected back to the transducer in air. However, once the transducer is immersed in a liquid, the signal is detected.

Disposable Groundwater FiltersFHT-45 High TurbidityThe Waterra FHT-45 offers the user the most surface area available in capsule type filters today. The unique open pleat geometry and 600 square cm surface area provide the maximum media exposure while ensuring that even with the most turbid samples, you will not lose filtration media to blinding.

The FHT-45 uses 600 square cm of high quality polyethersulphone 0.45 micron filter media, which offers excellent particle retention above the target micron size range. The high void volume of this media also helps prolong media life.

The Enviro Cap™ Environmental Well Cap has a hidden secret. This well cap has a magnetically activated lock built into the body of the cap. The magnetic locking mechanism is activated by using the ElectriKey.

The ElectriKey has a special face that mates with the top of the ElectriLoc well cap. When these two surfaces are joined, the magnet in the key causes the locking mechanism within the cap to engage, allowing the operator to lock or unlock the well cap. Without the key, the caps lock mechanism can be turned but to no avail.

The ElectriLoc well cap is available for 2” and 4” monitoring wells.

Surge BlockThe Waterra Surge Block is an excellent well development tool. It simply press fits over the body of the Standard Flow or High Flow foot valve (D-25 or D-32). The inertial pump has a substantial capacity for developing monitoring wells because of the cyclical action of the valve in the well screen area. This characteristic can be utilized to remove silt and sediment that has accumulated in the foot of the monitoring well and can also be used to remove fines from the sand pack and well screen.

The surge block effectively increases the outside diameter of the D-25 or D-32 foot valve to 1 7/8” in 2” wells and 3 7/8” OD in 4” wells, reducing the annular gap between the valve and the inside of the well screen to approximately 1/16” . This results in a significant increase in the surging action of the valve.

The Geotech Filter Bucket™ is an independently floating passive hydrocarbon recovery skimmer that is equipped with a visual alarm to indicate when the bucket is full. The heart of the

system is a floating cartridge that recovers product for storage

SpOILerThe SpOILer is an efficient “controllerless” product recovery system designed to recover floating hydrocarbons from 2” and larger wells and sumps. The SpOILer utilizes an internally regulated pneumatic bladder pump combined with a floating skimmer attachment. This system tracks water level fluctuations in excess of 24” (4” skimmer) while removing product to a sheen. This system is extremely flexible for use at a variety of sites, with skimmers available to recover product ranging from gasoline to gear oil over several available travel ranges.

Unlike other solar powered pumping systems, which use a standard bladder pump operated by an air compressor, the Solar Sipper uses a unique vacuum/pressure canister pump to recover hydrocarbons through a floating oleophilic/ hydrophobic intake filter. When the pump canister is filled, the pump reverses, pressurizes the system, and pumps the recovered fluid to the surface and into a storage vessel.

The Geotech Solar Sipper can effectively extract fluids from depths to 180 feet (55m) below ground surface and recover viscous hydrocarbons such as 90 weight oil when a fixed intake is utilized.

AC SipperThe Geotech AC Sipper is a Single-Phase, 110-220V AC powered remediation system designed for recovery applications where electrical power is available. The compact, easy to install features make this unit an industry favourite!

PRS (Product Recovery System)The Geotech PRS is a product recovery system that incorporates a pneumatic control panel with a downwell stainless steel pneumatic bladder pump coupled with a unique floating skimmer attachment. The skimmer attachment consists of an oleophilic/hydrophobic buoy that allows free floating product to be skimmed down to a sheen.

PRS Control PanelThe PRS Control Panel can be used with most bladder/positive air displacement pumps. The dual timers can be adjusted to vary the intake and discharge cycle time. The pneumatic tankfull sensor shuts off the pump when the recovery tank is full. The system will not restart until the manual reset is pressed.

The Geotech Pneumatic Tankfull Shut-Off controls are self contained systems which are used to turn off the air supply to pneumatic pumps or other pneumatic controllers. They are activated when a high liquid level or pressure increase in a recovery tank exists.

Geotech’s Tankfull controls are mounted first in the series of pneumatic system components. They allow compressed air to operate pneumatic components until there is a high fluid level or pressure condition in the recovery tank.

STDTFSO – Standard Tankfull Shut-OffDesigned to be mounted directly on the tank

GEOTFSO – Manual Reset Tankfull Shut-OffDesigned with a control panel, which can be mounted directly on the sensor tube, or up to 25 (7.6m) feet away. It also incorporates the following additional features:

Manual Reset ButtonAs an additional safety feature, the GEOTFSO incorporates a manual reset button. The reset button must be pushed and the system reset to resume system operation.

Tankfull IndicatorThe Tankfull Indicator is green when the system is operational and black when the system is shut off. The recovery tank must be emptied and the reset button pushed before the system can be reactivated.

Air Filter/Water TrapA two stage 5 micron water and particulate filter contained in a metal bowl with a manual drain.

Reciprocating (Piston) Air CompressorThe Geotech Gas Guzzler is an easy to install product recovery

system designed for shallow recovery operation with up to 25 (7.6m) feet of suction lift The pump is usually mounted at the well head or in a 12” (30.5cm) minimum sump and will deliver approximately 0-4 GPM (0-15 LPM) while using 2-6 CFM (.06-.17 cmm) of air, depending on the suction lift, pumping rate, and total discharge head.

The Hydrocarbon Viscosity Test Kit is used to determine hydrocarbon viscosity vs.applicability of the oleophilic/hydrophobic screen technology. It is especially useful when the Geotech Product Recovery System is going to be used to collect varying hydrocarbons.

The test kit comes with a glass container and lid, floatable test screens of 100 and 60 mesh, sample container, and a syringe for injecting the sample. This screen technology is used on Geotech’s product line of assorted intake cartridges and skimmer assemblies.

Gas Guzzler System

HI 9829Rugged, waterproof and easy to use, the HI 9829 is the ideal meter for field measurements of lakes, rivers and seas. Both meters display 1 to 12 parameters simultaneously from up to 15 user selectable parameters.

Combined with one of the HI 76x9829 series probes, the HI 9829 can measure water quality parameters such as pH, ORP, conductivity, turbidity, temperature, ions ions ammonium, nitrate, chloride (NH4+, NO3-—N or Cl-), dissolved oxygen concentration, resistivity, TDS, salinity, and seawater specific gravity. Atmospheric pressure is measured for DO compensation.

This meter features a graphic, backlit LCD that scales digits to fit up to 12 parameters and allows full configuration of each parameter measured along with an on-screen graphing capability.

HI 9829 incorporates comprehensive GLP features and the transferring of data via USB connection. The HI 98290’s HELP key displays context sensitive help. The alpha-numeric keypad offers a user friendly way to complete the input fields.
