Convention Prayer requests for May 25: Pastors and other church ministry staff, as well as their spouses, will be gathering tomorrow and Tuesday (May 26th & 27th) to attend a financial/retirement planning seminar hosted by our CABC’s Pension & Insurance Board. Please pray that God will give wisdom as they listen to presentations relating to stewardship issues preparing for retirement.
Prayer Requests: The family of the late Eric Ross, Elizabeth Vardigans, Carla Hirtle, Partick Veinot, Gertrude Veinot, Margaret Spidle, Ryan Veinot, Edna Grimm, Iris Rafuse, Barb Demone.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND COMING ACTIVITIES
May 28 7pm Choir practice at the Church.
May 30 6:30 pm Ball game for youth ages 12 and up at the Barss Corner Ball Field.
June 1 4 pm Induction service for Pastor Joe Green at Aenon Baptist Church in Chester Basin, NS. There will be a fellowship potluck to follow so it is very important to RSVP if you plan on attending. You can leave a message at the church (275-3024) or email me at [email protected].
June 7 9am - 12 noon 10th Annual BLA Plant and Yard Sale at the Barss Corner Community Hall. All donations of plants and yard sale items are greatly appreciated as well as donations for the bake table. (No clothing items please.) Anyone wishing to bring items in early Al will store them and take them to the hall on the day of the sale.
June 8 11 am Rural Life Service at the Barss Corner Baptist Church. Note: There will be no service in Parkdale on this date. Pot luck lunch in the Barss Corner hall following the service.
Ladies "Low-Key" Walking Group: Fridays from 2-3pm. Meet at the Chelsea Road (off the Old Barss Corner Road) and park by the bridge. Call Connie if you have any questions (644-1013)
