If so, we are in the process of recruiting volunteer participants for our Training of Trainers (ToT) program and we would like to extend the call for application to you. Africa Lead II is building on its existing Training of Trainers (TOT) program to develop and deliver an improved Training of Trainers program and build a Volunteer core group of certified ALII, Ghanaian trainers and facilitators equipped with the requisite skills to provide training and facilitation services on behalf of Africa Lead. Trainees who successfully complete our ToT program will be expected to organize and deliver our Leadership and Change Management short course to reach more youth. We are currently looking for our top applicants to participate in the Volunteer Leadership Training of Trainers (ToT) Program. If your application is highly competitive and you are selected, this will be a unique opportunity to gain facilitation skills to organize and deliver leadership training workshops targeting youth and women across the country as a Volunteer Africa Lead trainer. Applicants who demonstrate the strongest training experience and leadership skills and are able to showcase their strengths and competencies will be shortlisted for a face to face interview selection process. You have participated in the Africa Lead Agricultural Transformation Champions for Change (C4C) Leadership Course; do you want to learn how to facilitate and provide experiential training courses and help us train more Champions for Change? Kindly submit a short 500 -750 word essay on how you intend to use the skills / knowledge gained and your approach and strategy for implementing a Champions for Change cascade training program that would "scale –up” reach more beneficiaries at a lower cost. The essay is expected to highlight and provide the following information:

Describe why you would like to benefit from the TOT and what attributes you possess to fully take advantage of this program;

State how you plan to develop and implement your cascade training program after the ToT;

Propose a budgeted cost scheme to sustainably run the cascade training;

State: (1) who your target beneficiaries will be and why and (2) how many people you intend to reach;

State how the training will change or improve your target beneficiaries ability to effect change and agricultural transformation;

State what resources you currently have to organize cascade trainings;

Describe how you intend to follow-up with participants after having trained them.

Applications will be evaluated based on the following Selection Criteria:

1. Trained Champion: Must have participated and completed an Africa Lead’s Leadership Champions for Change (C4C) training

2. Results-oriented: Known for setting goals and seeking to achieve them

3. Innovative: propose innovative ideas and approaches to implementing and scaling up the program

4. Genuine interest in adult training and participatory facilitation skills and capability to apply training skills – Expressed interest in reaching youth and women target groups

5. Knowledgeable of typical national and continental agricultural development challenges or CAADP food security initiatives

6. Experience: Demonstrated training experience or possession of facilitation skills leading participatory workshops, trainings or meetings

7. Availability to contribute/volunteer their time and deliver C4C cascade training without remuneration.
