Conclusion

The Emancipation Proclamation is one of the most famous documents issued during any presidency and also one of Abraham Lincoln’s crowning achievements. From this assignment the students will gain a better understand of what the Emancipation Proclamation was and what it was used for. They will know when it was issued, who it freed, and ultimately how it changed the face of the United States as we know it now.
