Domain Names Unique to each site

Make sure they are linked to your parish email

Identifies the webserver to connect to

Make sure it is relevant to your ministry

Individual ministry websites are normally linked to the Parish website. It is good to collaborate with your Parish Webmaster. Make sure that you have approval from Parish administration before purchasing a domain.

Some options include: WordPress, WIX, Blogger

All 3 platforms provide templates which give you a starting point to build your site

All information is stored on a external web server enabling you to manage your website from anywhere you have internet access

Text- should be easy to understand

The scope of this site is very specific in nature

For example: a site for catechists to get lesson plans or RCIA participants to find more information on topics covered

Not meant to compete with the parish website but a resource for the ministry
