WEDDING DETAILS

• Ceremony Only Events • We do not allow for ceremony only events. • Ceremony space is limited and based upon availability. Ceremony areas are reserved for events that have

contracted a lunch or dinner Reception.

• Outdoor Ceremony • Talking Stick Resort reserves the right to make the final decisions regarding outdoor functions. The decision to

move a function to an indoor location, if available, will be made no less than twelve hours prior to the event based on the prevailing weather conditions and forecast.

• Décor • Decorations or displays must be approved prior to arrival. All items must be removed immediately following

each event.

• Vendors • Outside vendors contracted for the event are expected to follow all of the known rules and regulations of

Talking Stick Resort. All vendors must check in with your Talking Stick Resort Catering Department in order to determine delivery, setup and teardown times. All vendors and persons delivering items for events must use the loading dock area. Carts are not permitted to cross the Casino/Talking Stick Resort Floor. Vendors must supply the following vendor information three business days in advance of the event. *Photographers: It is important for your photographer to consult with your Catering Manager to determine available photo areas on any given day.

• Unattended Items/Additional Security • Talking Stick Resort cannot ensure the security of items left unattended in function rooms. Special

arrangements may be made with Talking Stick Resort for securing a limited number of valuable items. If your event requires additional security with respect to such items or for any other reason, Talking Stick Resort will assist in making these arrangements at an additional cost.

WEDDING DETAILS CONTINUED

• Tasting • Tastings are available for up to four attendees at the price of $50.00 per person. Each person is able to taste three

hors d’oeuvres, one salad and one entrée. Tastings will be scheduled by your Catering Sales Manager three to six months prior to your wedding date.

• Cake Tasting are offered complimentary at the Honeymoon Sweets office Tuesday-Saturday 9AM-2PM by appointment only.

• Guarantees

• Attendance and room set must be guaranteed and communicated in writing by the client 72 hours prior to event date. Attendance number will be considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction. Room set modifications after this date will be subject to additional labor fees at $150.00 dollars per hour.

• Outside Food and Beverage Policy

• All food and beverages served at functions associated with the event must be provided, prepared, and served by Talking Stick Resort, and must be consumed on Talking Stick Resort premises. With the exception of wedding cakes or bakery cakes provided by an approved licensed vendor, no food or beverages of any kind will be permitted to be brought into or removed from Talking Stick Resort by the client, guests or invitees. A $4.00 per person cake cutting fee will apply to all cakes from an outside vendor. Due to food and beverage restrictions guests are not permitted to cut their own cake.

• Liquor License

• The Client understands that Talking Stick Resort’s liquor license requires that beverages only be dispensed by Talking Stick Resort employees or bartenders. Alcoholic beverage service may be denied to those guests who appear to be intoxicated or are under age. Please notify your guests that Talking Stick Resort reserves the right to ask for I.D. at any bar and to bring appropriate I.D. to the event.

• Damage/Cleanup • The customer agrees to be responsible for any damage to the function room or any other part of Talking Stick Resort

and its interior furnishings. This includes the customer, his guests, invitees, employees, independent contractors or other agents under the client’s control. It is expected that the customer will leave the event space/area in the same condition as before the actual function commences. Talking Stick Resort reserved the right to assess a reasonable cleaning fee when appropriate.
