hhhhhhhhhh

Dear Homeschool Friend,

Thanks so much for your purchase. It is my prayer that these Notebooking

pages bless your children and your homeschool.

For my family, notebooking has been an answer to prayer. While using

Notebooking and Copywork pages my children have become better writers

and have created so many beautiful notebooks that have become treasures to

last a lifetime.

All of my Notebooking sets have been personally created by me for use in

my own homeschool. These same pages are in my children’s notebooks. I

created them to be used with different aged children, so I have provided

both regular and primary lined pages where possible.

Have fun using these pages, get creative with them. Add timelines, maps

and illustrations. May these pages sincerely be a blessing to you as they

have been to my family.

Blessings,

~Michelle Taylor~

Thanksgiving Tree

This year our family has had fun making our Thanksgiving Tree and

we want to share this idea with you.

Directions for leaves:

Using the blank leaf template on the next page, have children write

something they are thankful for this year. They can also lightly color

their leaf. You could also print the leaves out on different colors of

paper. You can give them one leaf per day and do this for a couple of

weeks. You can also have mom, dad and other family members that

visit write on a leaf too to add to your tree.

You can print the leaf out on card stock if you prefer to make it a little

stronger. I personally print mine on regular printer paper, and after it

has been written on and colored I apply a coat on Modge Podge to

front and back. Modge Podge can be bought at Wal-Mart and all craft

stores. Once it dries I cut the leaves out and tape them to our tree.

Directions for tree:

To make your tree you can use a tree branch or limb (a small to

medium size) and put it into a flower pot, bucket, or whatever you

have that will work. Anchor it down with rocks or stones. You can

make it small enough to sit in the middle of your table or larger to sit

on the floor.

As you make your leaves just tape them to your branch. As an

alternative you could also choose to just display the leaves around the

fireplace, along the sides of a bookcase or on a wall.

Make sure and have everyone write their name and year on the back of

their leaf. You can put them in a scrapbook to save to look back on

for years to come.
