Notice of PTFA Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The next meeting of the Uffculme School Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) will take place on Tuesday 2nd April at 7pm in the school Dining Hall. Parents, carers and staff of Uffculme School are
warmly invited to attend. The PTFA is a registered charity run by parents, carers and staff to raise money for the school for equipment
and events that would not normally be affordable from the school budget. The AGM will be followed by the first Christmas Craft Fair
planning meeting, so if you’d like to be involved or find out more about this popular event, do come and join us!
Year 9 Immunisations
All Year 9 parents should have received information about forthcoming vaccinations against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio and Meningitis by email. The letter can also be seen on the website under Student Life/Letters
Home/Year 9.
Have you joined the School Lotto yet? Sign up any time on ParentPay or at the Finance Office to be in with a chance to win one of three cash prizes every month and support the
School Trust at the same time.
Invigilators Needed
The Exams department are currently looking to recruit some new invigilators for the summer exams. If you know of anyone who may be
interested in joining the team, or would like to find out more, please ask them to contact the Exams Office on [email protected]

Activities Week Payments All Activities Week payments will be due by Friday 26th April. This is particularly important if your child is attending a
residential trip, as we need to have payments in on time in order to confirm the bookings. Please be aware that you can make payment in
instalments of any amount, at any time until the deadline on 26th April; we strongly advise you to make use of this option, to reduce the
chance of encountering financial difficulties if payment is left until close to the deadline. Unfortunately, if payment is not made by the deadline, your child may not be able to attend their chosen activity.
Music Tuition Music tuition invoices for lessons commencing after Easter have now been sent out. If you are planning to cancel your child’s music tuition, please contact Mrs Moyle in the Finance Office as soon as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of the items above, please contact Mrs Moyle on 01884 842904 or
[email protected] Thank you.

We are delighted to present an hour of diverse and jaw dropping ensemble work from the Performing Arts Music department, preceded
by an hour of acoustic acts to enjoy. With Ensembles from Year 7 to 11, we would like to invite you to support and enjoy an evening of
performances and celebrate the work they have developed in lessons. This event will be ticket only, and all funds raised will go towards the Music suite which you are welcome to come and visit on this evening
to witness the impact of recent fundraising events. The bar will be open for an hour before the Ensemble show starts at 7.30pm,
with acoustic entertainment from the students whilst you enjoy a pre-show drink and snack. For more information, please contact Mrs Luing-Holmes on [email protected]
