Church Ministry Mid-Week

Clubhouse

Clubhouse is our midweek children’s program for Grades 1-5 happening every Wednesday evening @ 7 pm from September until May. If you live in Parry Sound and would like your child/children to be part of this program but do not have transportation, please contact the church office and arrangements can be made for your children to be picked up with our church bus. Children must be registered.

Anthem Student Ministries

I was really blessed and fully encouraged by your congregation on 10th December 2017 (which was our 2nd year anniversary in Canada), what I can say about your church is that you are a Christ-centered and Bible based church, and you are a blessing for many people like me. I really appreciate your love and support, and I kindly request you to please keep my wife, me and our ministry in your prayers. Thanks once again for your leadership, and may God bless you all. YAK N SNACK LUNCHEON - Thursday, January 11th @ 11:30am

All seniors are welcome to come to Yak n Snak for a home cooked meal and a time of fellowship and fun. All seniors are welcome!

MEN’S BREAKFAST - Saturday, January 27th @8:00am

All men are welcome to join us for a hot, home-cooked breakfast. Come and bring a friend! (53 minute special)

COMMUNITY PLAY GROUP

Play group is a free drop in community group for caregivers and children under 5. For January, the dates are Wednesday, January 17th, 24th & 31st, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. All are welcome to come.

Cancellations due to weather, will be posted on our church web-site, or if we have your current cell phone number you can receive a text notification. Please let the office know if your information needs to be updated.

For Clubhouse and Youth Events, they are automatically cancelled if the buses are cancelled.

Remember that the parking lot can become slippery during the winter months. Please use caution.

Ushers are needed! Please contact the church office or see Dave Burrows if you would like to serve in this area. Thank you for volunteering!

As of January 1, 2018, we officially become Bayside Family Church. Please make sure that all tithing cheques are payable to “Bayside Family Church”. Thank you for your faithful giving. We look forward to great things in the year ahead.

Bayside Family Church Soup and Sandwich Social - January 28th

This is not a business meeting. This is a family gathering. We encourage you to be a part of

this connection time. The strength of a church is not found in its bylaws and protocols.

The strength of a church is found in its relationships. All you need to bring is a good

attitude. Soup and sandwiches will be provided. There will be a donation bucket available for

those who would like to help with the cost of this gathering. The program for this function is

you. Come. Be part of our transforming family. (All those unable to let go of bad attitudes

will be pleased to find space available in our many local restaurants :)

The Pastoral Staff would like to thank everyone for their

A CALL TO FAST AND A WEEK OF PRAYER

A CALL TO FAST

Tuesday, January 2nd to Tuesday, January 9th we are calling on our Church to fast. Registration is not necessary, but all those who feel led by the Spirit are asked to join us this week in

fasting. This will prepare our hearts to serve and hear from God in the coming week of prayer. If you can fast for the whole week, or even a portion of the time, join with us.

Please be guided by any medical conditions.

coffee counter. If you have chosen to be contacted through email, it is important that you visit our new website

The Parry Sound Pentecostal Tabernacle family has been a church in Parry Sound for over 100 years.

We are a church who has and is in partnership and affiliation with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

We are blessed and thankful for this journey and for its powerful heritage.

Our name change is not a rejection or a separation from our past or a new direction for our future.

Our name change is a statement that reflects our heart cry. We live in a world where religious words and

insights have become lost and meaningless. For many the words Pentecostal and tabernacle are unknown

terms. Our name change to Bayside Family Church is attempt to communicate to a world no longer familiar

with Christian lingo. We are a church that is a family and we are a family church. We have been moved

as this family to put aside theological titles and speak to today’s culture. First things first.

We want to speak the power of relationship; a personal relationship with Christ and with each other.

We are Bayside Family Church.
