Applied Arts and Technology - Andrew LeblancClasses offered under Applied Arts and Technology (Electives / Requirement 4 Credits - (2 Computer/ 2 Applied Arts)Business/Computer Technology is designed to integrate business and computer technology skills in the high school curriculum. Using current technology, students are exposed to real-world applications while learning marketable skills. All students have a two year Foreign Language requirement for graduation. Students are encouraged to progress in the chosen language(s) as far as possible. Modern language classes are offered in French, German, and Spanish and stress the four skills of foreign language study: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

English - loretta williams We, the English Department of Nashoba Regional High School, believe that all students can learn and improve their understanding and skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. All teachers will facilitate this understanding and development of skills through varied approaches.

World Humanities is a thematically taught course that focuses on major events in World History through the lens of literature, non-fiction texts, art, and music. This course will provide four history credits and four English credits. This is a full-year class and is scheduled for a double period.

Students will examine essential questions focused on the duality of humanity, friendship and compassion, overcoming adversity, and responsibility and growth.

● This course provides a foundation for the study of World and American history, literature, and the fine arts. Selected topics from both Western and non-Western cultures are studied from an economic, political and social aspect.

● Students interested in the Honors course should meet the criteria outlined on page 8 of the Program of Studies.

● Students in the accelerated level are expected to do independent reading, handle research topics, and write at an advanced level.

Closing Students will be selecting courses online on March 31st. The PowerSchool portal

will remain open for you to add/change course requests until the end of the school day on Monday, April 12th.

Our annual orientation for incoming 9th graders will be held in late August at the high school. On this day, incoming students will tour the school, meet their classmates and receive schedules. You will receive more information in June.
