Welcome to First Baptist Church
Welcome to First Baptist Church of Clemson. We are so pleased that you are part of our congregation today.
We worship God as revealed in Jesus Christ and seek to provide our people both a sense of identity and belonging and a sense of direction and mission. We hope you will consider making First Baptist Clemson your church home.
As a family of Christian believers, this Church receives as new members all those professing faith in Christ and requesting baptism by immersion. This Church also receives members by transfer of letter from another church or by statement of previous membership in another church providing membership in that church required profession of faith in Christ and baptism in some form. Members may be received at any scheduled worship service.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP
4 year Olds through 2nd Grade
In the Children's Chapel (room #103/104), the children are learning about
elements of worship. Today's Bible lesson is Jesus Feeds 5,000 (Mark 6:30-44;
John 6:1-14). One day as Jesus was resting on a hillside, lots and lots of people
came to see and hear Him talk about God. They stayed and listened to Jesus until
suppertime. Jesus knew the people were hungry. Then, one of Jesus' friends
pointed out a boy who had five loaves of bread and two fish. This wasn't enough
food for everyone, but Jesus thanked God and began breaking the bread and fish
into pieces. All of the sudden, there were hundreds and hundreds of pieces of
bread and fish! Every person had plenty to eat, and there was even food left
over! Jesus showed His love to these people by giving them food. Jesus shows His
love to us by giving us things that we need too (like food to eat, clothes to wear,
a house to live in, people who love us...). Our Bible verse for today is "God gives
us what we need" Phillippians 4:19 (NCV).
"Gennady and Mina Podgaisky serve as Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global
Field Personnel in Kiev, Ukraine. Having been in the field for just over a decade,
they have learned how to recognize local street children and work to help
transform the lives of orphans, runaways, and children at risk. Their leadership
was instrumental in the founding of the 'Village of Hope' foster care facility."
