KOREN MACHZORIM IN 5777
We are excited to bring the Koren machzor to ASBI for the High Holidays in 5777. The machzor is one of the clearest articulations of Jewish belief and one of the most powerful tools for Jewish spiritual life. The Koren machzor, with a translation and commentary by Rabbi Dr. Lord Jonathan Sacks, enables English-speaking worshippers to connect in new ways to one of Judaism's
oldest books. The editorial choices of the Koren Publishing House make this machzor uniquely suited for a Religious Zionist and Modern Orthodox congregation.
We invite you to honor your friends and loved ones and to support the spiritual life of the shul by dedicating one or more machzorim sets, or making a donation. To learn more and participate, visit asbi.org/machzor-5777.html.

Navigating Life's Milestones with Non-Jewish Family & Friends
with Rabbi David Wolkenfeld Thursday, July 21, 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Can I participate in a cousin's interfaith marriage? Is it permissible
to attend a beloved colleague's funeral in a church? Should I eat
Christmas dinner with my grandparents? As our community is
transformed by multiculturalism, intermarriage, and conversion,
every Jewish family will need to navigate dilemmas raised by our
deep and significant relationships with relatives and friends who
are not Jewish. This class will discuss some of the halakhic
questions raised by these dilemmas and explore some avenues for
practical guidance.
