Measuring more than just clicks –– the tools

Social Mention is a social media search engine that searches user-generated content such as blogs, comments, bookmarks, events, news, videos, etc.

TubeMogul is a free service that provides a single point for deploying uploads to the top video sharing sites, and analytics on who, what, and how videos are being viewed. TubeMogul tracks rich, standardized analytics far beyond "views," including per-second audience drop-off, audience geography and much more.

PR Metrics –– Tracks the buzz about your company, a tradeshow or topic and find out how your company compares to the competition.

Networking with attendees

• More than 300 people attended PCB4, and the contacts I made with those folks were invaluable. We talked about all kinds of things, including an impromptu session I attended on “The Future of Work,” and how social media may change over time for those of us who use it in our jobs.
