Stations of the Cross begin at 5:30 p.m. on each Friday during Lent from

February 15 (today), until March 22. Please join us! The Stations of the Cross

is one of the most ancient forms of Christian devotion. Those who wereunable to do an actual pilgrimage to Jerusalem created this form of devotion, which evolved into smaller walking pilgrimages of fourteen Stationsrepresenting different parts of the Passion story. From there, it continued toevolve into the stations now seen in churches.

The Reconciliation of a Penitent is always available in our Church to those who desire it. Reconciliationis particularly appropriate during Lent since Lent is the time during the Church Year that we are taughtto consider those things we have done or left undone and accept God's forgiveness. Confession isfundamental to the worship of the Church. Individual confession can be affirming though it is neithernecessary nor obligatory. To find out more about the rite, see page 446 of the Book of Common Prayer;to discuss or receive the sacrament, contact Johnnette+.
