OUR SERVICE AREA

CARINGThe Marshfield Family Resource Center provides a nurturing environment where parents can connect with resources, access programs, talk with staff one on one, and enjoy family activities with their children at no cost.

NOURISHINGMany local families face tough financial choices and struggle to keep enough nutritious food in their homes for growing kids. The Nutrition on Weekends (NOW) program provides healthy, ready-to-eat foods for children during the weekend.

SAFETYWith several programs to suit the unique housing challenges of low-income residents in our area, North Central Community Action Program (NCCAP) works tirelessly to ensure everyone has a safe and healthy place to call home.

COMPASSIONThe Marshfield Area Respite Care Center (MARCC) offers a peaceful quality social daycare program during the week for people with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, or other dementia. The program enriches lives and provides peace of mind to their caregivers.

ADVOCACYThe Personal Development Center Inc. (PDC) helps survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, dating violence, elder abuse, and stalking by connecting them to resources, promoting safety, and building hope through case management, advocacy and education.

STEPPING UPVolunteers are a vital resource in creating positive change for our most vulnerable community members. United Way’s work in the community would not be possible without the generous support of hundreds of volunteers year after year.

MENTORSHIPBig Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Wisconsin provides children facing adversity with professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
