STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: First layer of flowerPrepare a roll of copper and start inserting seed beads. You need to have about 80cm of copper wire threaded with seed beads. Adjust the length if you like smaller or bigger flower. When you have enough seed beads you can tie a loose knot at the beginner of the wire to prevent the seed beads from falling off the copper wire.

At the other side, leave about 7cm of wire without seed beads. Cut off the wire and tie a small loose knot as well. The knot will prevent the seed beads from dropping out from the wire.

Step 2: Now, weave the wire around your 2 fingers and from a figure 8 till the end of the wire.

Place the start of the seeded wire in between the index and middle fingers. Bring the seeded wire to the back of the finger and bring it back the front of the middle finger.

Bring the seeded wire to the back of your middle finger and bring it up to the front by passing through the gap between your index and middle fingers.

Continue the same figure 8 weaving pattern until you reach the end of seeded wire.

Step 3: As we are going to tie up the wire and the joint between the 2 fingers, remove the excess seed beads that are beyond the middle point.

Now, go back to the starting point and grab and bend the wire (where you left it without seed beads earlier) and bring it the to the back through the gap between the 2 fingers. Then bring it to the right from the back and to the left (front) to wrap the joint.

Wrap around the joint a few times to tighten the flower.

Step 4: Untie the knot on the other end of the wire and remove the extra seed beads.

Step 6: Second layer of flower Now, let's begin with a second layer of petals.

Cut approximately 6cm x 0.3mm copper wire and insert 7 pieces of teardrop beads.

Join the wires together and cross one end of the wire to the first teardrop bead.

Bring this wire to the back of the petal and to the other end of the wire and wrap it 1 time onto the wire in between the teardrop beads to secure the position.

Step 8: Bring up your first layer of flower and attached the second layer of flower by inserting the extended wires into the petals and bring them to the back of the petals.

Step 10:Now we are going to prepare branches that will be inserted into the frame of the bangle.

Cut 3cm of 0.7mm copper wire.

Bend the tip of the wire and grip with your round nose pliers make a loop.

Prepare approximately 50 pieces of such branches. Number of branches required will depend on the length of your bangle. You can add on more later on.

Tips:Ensure you measure the length of copper wires to make these branches accurately. For this tutorial, I am using 3cm as the length to make a bangle. I am using 0.5cm of wire to make each loop. So for 2 loops, you will make use of 1cm of copper wire and that leave about 2cm as the width for the bangle. By measuring accurately, it will ensure you have consistent width throughout the making of the bangle.

Step 12:Now insert these branches into the bangle frame. Insert as many until you are close the the center part of the bangle.

To attach the wired flower onto the frame, you can cut approximately 10cm of 0.3mm wire and wrap it around the upper frame.

Secure your wired flower with the wire by wrapping it a few times. Repeat the same process for the bottom frame and cut off excess wires. You can also use the remaining wire from the wired flower to tie it against the frame.

Then fill the rest of the bangle frame with beaded branches.
