Midlands has launched aninnovative scheme to helpyoung homebuyers receivesupport from their parentswhen it comes to buying theirnew home.

The developer, which wasrecently awarded the maximumfive-star status by the HomeBuilders Federation for asecond consecutive year, is nowoffering increased support forparents who wish to help theirchildren to get onto theproperty ladder. It mans theyare now able to apply for anunsecured personal loan of upto 50,000 through HitachiCapital (UK).

The scheme has beenintroduced because significantnumbers of creditworthy first-time buyers are largely

dependent on parental support;they do not have the 20 or 25 percent deposit which lenders nowrequire.

MORE than 1,700 lots went under thehammer at Halls popular monthlycollective machinery auction at Stone,near Kidderminster.

Top price of the day went to a CaseMX 135 four-wheel drive tractor whichsold for 9,000. The tractor section alsoincluded a John Deere 2850 four-wheeldrive at 5,200, a Benford pivot steerdumper (3,700) and a MasseyFerguson 575 with MF80X loader andbucket (2,30).

A selection of quads and bikes sold toa high of 900 for a Polaris dieselquadbike. The vehicles and trailerssections had a high number of entriesand the best price was achieved by aLand Rover Discovery, which made1,850. Other vehicles included a MGsports car at 950 and an Iveco Fordlorry (1,000).

Ifor Williams Trailers were indemand, with top price of 1,700 beingpaid for a stock trailer. An interestinglot in this section was a cateringtrailer, which made 500.

It was the right time of year to sell

farm implements, with a Hesston 4590conventional baler going for 5,400;two Marshall 10-ton trailers selling for1,800 and 1,500 and a Bomfordhedgecutter making 2,100.
