Install Workstation Silently

IfyouareinstallingWorkstationonseveralWindowshostcomputers,youcanusethe

silentinstallationfeatureoftheMicrosoftWindowsInstaller.Thisfeatureisconvenient,

forexample,inalargeenterprise.

Beforeyoubegin,ensurethatthehostcomputerhasversion2.0orhigheroftheMSI

runtimeengine.

This

version

of

the

installer

is

available

in

versions

of

Windows

beginningwithWindowsXPandisavailableseparatelyfromMicrosoft.Foradditional

To install Workstation silently

besettomwhenthekerneliscompiled).

TousetheWorkstationHelpsystem,youmusthaveaWebbrowserinstalledon

thehostcomputer.

Ifanyvirtualmachinesaresuspended,resumethem,shutdowntheguest

operatingsystem,andpowerthemoff.
