E-Programme from the Wythenshawe Town v Irlam Reserves in the Cheshire League 2TRANSCRIPT
Issue 13 2014/15 Official Matchday Programme
v Irlam Reserves
Today we welcome Irlam Reserves, we haven’t played them yet this season, but we have seen them play so we are well prepared. The players know what is expected of them ahead of yet another important league game which can put us 3 points closer to promotion; which is vital for not only the team but the club this season. This will also be an interesting match as we face Irlam Reserves again in the cup quarter-final in just two weeks time but all that concerns me at the moment is getting a positive result from this match which can move this club one step closer to League 1. On a side note, we’re looking for player sponsors. Please support the club by sponsoring a player for the remainder of the season for just £5. Enjoy the game, and stay for a drink in the clubhouse after the game with the players. The supporters are one of the driving forces of this club and every single player appreciates the support the fans bring each game, every game. Lee McGregor, WTFC 1

Match Programme 2014/15
Wythenshawe Town travelled to NWCFL Premier Division side Maine Road for a mid-season friendly, a tough ask considering the 4 division difference in the teams The goals came from Ben Brooks, Jason Walley and Paul Walley (2) in a 4-2 victory against a very good Maine Road outfit Lee McGregor had his say on the match: “What a performance from every single player, every single one of them put a proper shift in for the
team and it’s resulted in a magnificent result away at a NWCFL Premier Division side. The players work so hard in every game and it’s no less than they deserved.

Match Programme 2014/15
This season has been exciting both on and off the field of play along with the on-going development of our club. There is a buzz around the ground something that has been missing for a number of years. The belief and support is fantastic as we continue to aim at improving our facilities developing our grounds and growing our fan base. We are already planning the grounds development, intending to build 2, possibly 3 new fully seated stands during the pre-season which hopefully will be ready for the start of next season. I have managed to obtain 400 seats from The Olympic Village which is amazing for the club I am in talks and very optimistic of agreeing with a local company to supply us with the equipment to build the stands. I am working extremely hard to find funding to replace the fence to the Altrincham road end of our grounds of which is in desperate need of replacement. I am looking for a marquee that will accommodate 200/250 people for our presentation night I think it will be an amazing night for the whole club to be involved and celebrate with your teams. We are looking for volunteers who can spare a bit of time to assist us in our quest to develop, grow and maintain our football club: Gardeners Decorators Builders DIY We appreciate your support, please get involved and join us on our journey improving our facilities. Thank you for your on-going support good luck to All our teams Your proud Chairman, Kenny Hope
