If you are extremely sick and are unable to come to work, a doctor's notice will be needed in order for your missed time to not count as part of your 2 missed days. Your second pay raise will be to $12.00 an hour after you have been with GK's Custom Polishing for 180 days. This pay raise is only given if the following conditions are met: if you have missed absolutely no more than 3 days of work from initial hiring, have been late no more than 5 times since initial hiring and substantial progress has been made at the speed and efficiency of which your work is performed (to be determined by owner of GK's). Thereafter, pay raises are awarded based on the following: - Being on time to work - Quality of work - Productivity and efficiency of work - Reliability - There is to be NO discussion of any information pertaining to paychecks among employees. Any discussion will result in disciplinary action and possible termination. - GK's Custom Polishing, Inc. believes in further education for their employees. At times in your employment, GK's will pay for you to attend classes on continued education. Most classes are usually 1 day. These classes are provided to GK's employees free of charge. Depending on the location of the class, GK's will reimburse employees for travel expenses (such as parking) and also food expenses during the day. These classes are considered to be furthering your education and therefore you will not be paid to attend these classes. HEALTH CARE BENEFITS: - GK's Custom Polishing, Inc. provides health care benefits to all full time employees that work at the company. - Health care benefits become active on the 1st of the month after working for the company for 90 days. - Further information about the health care benefits offered at GK's Custom Polishing, Inc. will be explained to you after being offered a position at the company. - All health care benefits immediately end either upon termination or deciding to leave the company. DENTAL BENEFITS: - GK's Custom Polishing, Inc. has a company run dental plan. - An employee can choose to sign up for the dental plan and have the monthly premium deducted from their paycheck each month or an employee can choose not to be part of the program. - Dental premiums are paid for by each employee - 100% of the monthly premium cost. The company runs and operates the program.
