£15 Xmas ChallengeThis year the Diana Award is celebrating our 15th Anniversary and this Christmas we’re asking your help to raise £15 by each taking part in our £15 Xmas Challenge…

Why £15 we hear you say? Well it’s simply really - a little bit can go along way. It would Celebrate a young hero with a Diana Award and encourage them to keep up their good work,Contribute to a young person being trained as an Anti-Bullying Ambassador, giving them the skills to tackle bullyingChange a young person’s life through Peer-2-Peer Mentoring and training

We’ve pulled together lots of young people’s ideas to help us create this Fundraising Pack. Inside you’ll find our favourite 15 Christmassy fundraising ideas, lots of hint and tips and everything else you need to join in our Challenge. Everyone that successfully completes the Challenge will be invited into a SPECIAL PRIZE DRAW, with the winner being announced in February to attend WE DAY – the UK’s largest youth festival that saw incredible performers like Birdy and Ellie Goulding share the stage with inspirational speakers including Malala and even royalty as Prince Harry graced the stage.*

1. Five a side football tournament

Has your team got the skills or ability to go all the way? Each player could put in £3 for the competition and each team will raise £15. The winning team at the end of the tournament could get a cool special prize.

2. Christmas Talent CompetitionCalling solo singers, musicians, comedians,

bands or dancers enter yourselves into your school or office talent show. You can charge an

entry fee or audience tickets. Who will win?

3. Bake OffBake 15 delicious and colourful cupcakes and sell them in your school or office for £1 each.

Ready Steady Bake!

4. Sponsored SilenceHave you got what it takes to be quiet for 15 hours? Do a sponsored silence and people can donate £1 per hour.

5. Santa Sprint

Santa may be quick at delivering presents but how quick can Santa run. Grab your friends, your best Santa outfit and organise a sponsored Santa Sprint to raise £15.

6. Super-SwimmerOrganise a £15 sponsored swimming tournament. Whoever wins is crowned ‘Super-Swimmer’ of the year!

7. A Night at the MoviesWhy not organise a film night for your family and friends. You could show Christmas movies, or maybe your favourite from the last year. Ask people for donation for tickets.

8. Gift WrappingSet up a gift wrap station where our friends and family can pay to have their presents wrapped. You can charge per item. This is always a fun way over Christmas to raise £15.

9. Quiz-Master

There are lots of Christmas quizzes online. Gather your friends and family to make teams and charge £3 entry. Which team will win?

10. Name The Snowman

Who can guess the Snowmans’ name correctly? Charge 50p a guess or

£1 for 3 guesses. Draw the winner and give them a prize!

11. Wear a Onsie DayLeave your uniform at home and go into school or your office in your Christmas onsie! Get permission first though.

Everyone loves a onsie. Charge £2 donation to take part.

12. Bag packingSupermarkets are busy this time of year with shoppers stocking up on their favourite treats. Get in touch with your local supermarket and ask if you can bag pack for charity, people will donate money for your help. You could do it in fancy dress!

13. Christmas Carols

A traditional fundraiser at Christmas. You could either put on a show or safely knock on your neighbours door with friends singing carols. Another great option if you can get permission is in your local shopping centre or high street. La la la tra la la….

14. Pin The Nose on RudolphA variation of the classic game, Pin The Tail on The Donkey. This works in the same way but with a picture of Rudolph. You’ll have a giggle with your friends as they spin around in circles before trying their luck at getting it right. Charge 50p a go.

15. Face PaintingIf your home is looking festive and you want extra cheer you could offer face painting to your family and friends for donations of £3 each. You could do snowflakes, a reindeer, misteletoe, holly or even a full santa face paint.
