Handwriting• We are working, as a school, to promote
accurate, legible and fluent handwriting. Lesson time and guided reading sessions are specifically set aside for the children to learn and practise handwriting. We are in the process of using a character called ALF (accurate, legible and fluent) for all handwriting resources, to raise awareness of their handwriting.
Times tablesPractice times tables weekly.
Focus on one or two that the children are struggling with.
As the children become moreconfident, encourage them toidentify the associated divisionfacts.
