Our Learning ApproachOur courses are delivered in an entertaining and highly interactive manner with real life examples. There is a high degree of participation, examination preparation and practice. Our courses are intensive, but practically based.

Project Management

PRINCE2 is the world’s leading project management methodology. Any project. Any size. Any industry.

In a rapidly changing world, you need an effective project management solution to help you manage your projects… PRINCE2… and why not gain professional accreditation for the project management work that you do? PRINCE2 is a methodology covering the organization, management and control of projects.

Programme Management

Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) seeks to bring about this change through the co-ordinated management of a dossier of projects that change the organization to achieve benefits of strategic importance.

MSP is characterised by its focus on benefit management, which is a process for maximising benefit realisation from organizational change projects.

A programme is made up of a specific set of projects identified by an organization that together will deliver some defined objective or set of objectives. The objectives, or goals, of the programme are typically at a strategic level so the organization can achieve benefits and improvements in its business operations.MSP 2011 will replace the 2007 version by March 2012.

Portfolio Management Management of Portfolios (MoP) approaches the management of change projects and programmes from a strategic viewpoint.

It provides an overview of all change activities including what is in the portfolio, what it is costing, what risks are faced, what progress is being made and what the impact is on business as usual and the organization’s strategic objectives.

The core guidance is aimed at the decision makers who have to prioritise investment across an organization’s programmes and projects. The guide introduces the key concepts of portfolio management, its benefits to an organization, how it fits in with current business processes and how to get started.

Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices P3O is a decision enabling and delivery support structure for all change within an organization. This may be through a single permanent office eg, Portfolio Office, Centre of Excellence, Enterprise or Corporate Programme Office.

It may otherwise be provided through a linked set of permanent and temporary offices, providing a mix of services.

There has been no single source of information to provide guidance or advice on setting up or running an effective delivery support office.

P3O brings together in one place a set of principles, processes and techniques to facilitate effective portfolio, programme and project management through enablement, challenge and support structures.

Change ManagementOur Change Management courses explore how the dynamics of effective change work and show you how to unlock resistance to change, enable teams to work together and speed up the implementation of change programmes.

The objective is to enable candidates to generate better acceptance of change through the implementation of change theories, enabling a higher rate of satisfactory change while keeping staff engaged.

Foundation and Practitioner level qualifications are based on “Making Sense of Change Management”, by Esther Cameron and Mike Green.

Management of Risk

Management of Risk (M_o_R) helps organizations make informed decisions about risks which affect their performance, whether these are strategic, programme, project or operational.

M_o_R is the UK Government Management of Risk guide, linked to portfolio, program and project management through PRINCE2, MSP and MoP. This course provides international certification in Risk Management and is aligned with the AS NZS ISO 31000:2009, Risk Management – Principles and Guidelines.

Management of Value

MoV will make a real difference to organizations that need to deliver increased benefits while cutting or saving costs. Value is defined as the ratio between satisfaction of needs (benefits) and use of resources (expenditure). It enhances, rather than competes with, other management methods that seek to achieve value.

IT Service Management

This 3-day certificate course is the best starting point for any person or organization needing to find out about ITIL, the world best practice in IT Service Management.

ITIL has been widely accepted throughout the world as the de facto standard for best practice in IT Service Management.

Portfolio, Programme & Project Management Maturity Model

The Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) has become a key standard amongst maturity models, providing a framework with which organizations can assess their current performance and put in place improvement plans. P3M3 is an overarching model containing three individual models:Portfolio Management Maturity Model (PfM3)Programme Management Maturity Model (PgM3)Project Management Maturity Model (PjM3)

P3M3 takes into account the maturing knowledge of programme management, and the evolving recognition and definition of portfolio management, across a number of industry sectors.

Yellowhouse is an Accredited Consulting Organization with Registered Consultants who can conduct P3M3 assessments for you.
