then supply the countrys name as a keyword.
II. Writing the Abstract
To produce an abstract, please complete the following fields about your intended paper.
There are four fields which are obligatory (Purpose, Design, Finding and Value); the other
two (Research limitations/implications and Practical implications) may be omitt ed if they are
not applicable to your paper. Abstracts should be written in 1 page of A4 size sheets. Write
concisely and clearly. The abstract should reflect only what appears in the final paper.
(a) Purpose of the paper

What are the main method(s) used for the research?
What is the approach to the topic and what is the
theoretical or subject scope of the paper?
(c) Findings What was found in the course of the work? This will
refer to analysis, discussion, or results.
(d) Value/Originality of the
Paper
What was the value of the work? Is this the originality
of the findings?
(e) Research Limitations/
Implications (if applicable)
If research is reported in the paper, this section must be
completed and should include suggestions for future
research and any identified limitations in the research
process.
(f) Practical Implications
/Application (if applicable)
What kinds of outcomes and implications are a chieved
as a result of the work ? Will this work gives some
impact in the industries that employ such methodology?

Abstract
Storytelling can help entrepreneurs gain legitimacy, establish reputation and access resources. Factors that
make the entrepreneurs storytelling effective have attracted researchers and practitioners attention. However,
previous studies tend to stu dy this issue form the entreprene urs perspective and neglect to investigate
perspectives of the storys audience, which makes the findings limited. This study aims to study perspectives of
entrepreneur, entrepreneurs subordinate and journalist who has reported the entrepreneur on factors that make
the entrepreneurs storytelling effective. By comparing three different study subjects perspectives, this study try
to provide a complete analysis of key factors that make the entrepreneur s storytelling effective. Entrepreneurs
of small and medium-sized enterprises (SEMs) from food and beverage industry in Taiwan were chosen as t he
study entrepreneurs and seven journalists during October 2012 to April 2013. All interviews lasted about one
hour and were taped and fully transcribed.
The results of in-depth interviews show that entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs subordinates and journalists all
indicate multiple factors but have different story and sharing stories by chat ; subordinates emphasize the story s
benefits to the audience and entrepreneurs match their words with deeds; journalists highlight whether the story
fits to news value or net. Entrepreneurs who desire to persuade stakeholders by storytelling should integrate the
target stakeholders information preference. Collecting empirical data from different study subjects id a
triangulation method which can provide thick descripti on of the study issue and prove credibility of the
findings. This study is expected to extend the study of entrepreneurs storytelling and advance the Knowledge
base of the entrepreneurs strategies of storytelling. The findings also can help entrepreneurs develop better
strategies of storytelling to persuade stakeholders and further gain more legitimacy and resources for their new
enterprises.
