CurriculumWe offer an innovative and flexible curriculum designed to meet the learning needs of our students. We work with our students to help them set personal goals and achieve to the very best of their ability. They gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for life beyond secondary school.

The curriculum provided at Fiordland College is based on the New Zealand Curriculum (NZC). It affords students opportunities to develop the

values, key competencies and knowledge which are vital to becoming, active, confident and contributing members of our society.

Learning for students in Years 7 to 10 is organ-ised so they study subjects from all the learning areas. In the senior school students are given the opportunity to specialise according to their particular academic interests and strengths. In addition to this all students take part in a Career Development programme which allows them to participate in a variety of modules, including, at senior level, First Aid and involvement in work experience.

The curriculum at Fiordland College enables students to explore a range of learning skills empowering them to achieve personal excellence.
