The weather forcast of the animals Juliette Parachini - Séverine Duchesne

Sit down comfortably on your sofa; the weather forecast is about to begin. Augusto, the presenter, is visiting different animals around the world and asks the young readers to participate to this quite weird weather bulletin...

Jean, the baker, is fond of playing the accordeon but he can’t dance at all. Marguerite, the sewer, is the queen of the dance floor. Both are going to meet at a dance and music contest... This book is about meetings; it also pays homage to love and music.

Mrs Ostrich and Mr Crocodile are madly in love with each other. Unfortunately, they cannot have a baby together. One day, they come across an egg. They decide to adopt the baby without having a clue what animal it will be.

Big Grey is a cat that no longer bears the noises of the countryside, particularly those made by his friends the cock, the bird, the cicada or the sheep… He cannot even manage to have a rest! Annoyed, he starts walking away to find a quieter place, but against his wishes, he ends up lost in the centre of the closest city.

Jean and Marguerite Manuel Rulier - Delphine Garcia

When we are grown-up Sandrine Beau - Nicolas Gouny

My dad is a hero Séverine Vidal - éléonore Thuillier

The orphanage on the other side of the world Coralie Saudo & Emna

Big Grey éléonore Thuillier & Prisca Le Tandé

Mister Pervenche’s sundays Jeanne Taboni Misérazzi - Mayana Itoïz

Dad is unemployed and cannot manage to find a job. To cheer him up, his daughter Zoé has made the list of all the things he is good at: gently scratching her head, singing in the shower, using swearwords. Thanks to this list, Zoé’s father feels better and has decided to send unsolicited applications. Again, Zoé wants to make sure the employers realize how great her father is, and she adds her finishing touch…

Mister Pervenche hates the Sundays because everybody stays at home and the streets of the village are empty. During one of his sleepless nights, Mister Pervenche writes poetry. His words are going to transform his Sundays.

The little troublemaker spends her time getting on other children and adults’ nerves. She cannot stay calm and she has nobody to play with. She ends up meeting an old man who will not let her be a nuisance to him. This will annoy the little troublemaker very much.

Two kids dream about the job they would like to do when they are grown-ups: bubble-maker, dew-dropper, soaker specialized in giraffes’ foreheads or banker investing on pebbles, not forgetting the one every single lover would like to try once – moon-unhooker.

Little Blue Fir Tree lives among Large Green Firs Trees. He is made fun of all day long because of his colour. Little Blue Fir Tree cannot bear that any longer. He surrenders; he will never be loved or cared for… His life will suddenly change after the arrival of a funny little man who will give him hope. This book is about being different and accepting differences.

This is the story of a wolf who starts a strike. How is that possible? Many heroes from fairy-tales are quite annoyed. They gather together in a general assembly and begin a consultation. What can they do to convince the wolf to carry on embodying the villain?

Based on The Three Little Kittens nursery rhyme, the books explore the universe of children by zooming and un-zooming. The first shows a bird which is in a cage, which is in a room, which is in a house, etc... The second tells the story of a giant, who is in the wind, which blows in the forest, which is full of trees, etc. These books raise questions about how children live and interact with the world around them.

Miss Knitty has always been scared of being cold… That is why she knits everything she can! She can make a muffler out of a sunset… But, one day, she comes across an unexpected thread… A thread of adventure! This is a very nice story that we could almost use as a nursery rhyme. It is a story about sharing with people around us, opening up to them and falling in love at fist sight.

The lion is desperate; the parrot has just told him he had breath like a jackal’s bum. The lion meets a jackal who explains he hates this expression. The crocodile is not better-off when he opens his mouth. What to do when one has a really bad breath in the jungle? Mister Parrot may have an idea…

Leontine is a very strong-headed young princess. She does not want to abide by the rule; she is always dressed with overalls and plays the drums... What is more, she has started a revolution against the princes who chose their princesses only because they are beautiful.

Father Christmas is late to make all the presents this year. Fortunately, a man has come to solve his problem: he has brought him a machine efficient enough to produce more gifts than all his elves could do every minute. His workshop is rapidly filled with presents, but how to distribute them all? Does this man have any ideas?

Collection a grands pas

One morning, the teacher Mr Cabbagehead wakes up with a huge head. Naturally shy and discreet, everybody now looks at him. He will have to face people and he will discover that it is not easy to live as a disabled. Humorously, this book shows how to live with a difference, how to adapt to a new life and, in the end, how to take advantage from that situation.

The Fiddling Circus is in town at last! Come discover a unique, poetic show presented by Sir Fiddle and his entertainers. Marvel at the history and the acts of the Myrmidon Giants, of Lili the Acrobat, of Marinette the Clown, of the Crumble Sisters or also of Nino, the paper birds trainer. A strange portait gallery is awaiting you...

Is it the moon? No, it a croissant...Is it the moon? Well... No, it is a soap bubble, isn’t it? This is a book of black and white photos and drawings with poetic riddles about the different shapes the moon takes.

Mousy the mouse cannot bear the attic she has been living in any longer. Her neighbours have become far too noisy. She leaves her habitat to find a place that would be more welcoming. Along the way, she meets different animals. Besides, it also spans the history of painting in a funny way, allowing children to catch a glimpse of Arcimboldo’s, Warhol’s, Seurat’s and Picasso’s works. It is available with lesson plans made of two parts (reading and written expression / artistic production) and suitable for different groups of pupils.

This is a fairy-tale about princes, just as if we were part of it, both made of the vocabulary and the sudden developments that make such stories. Indeed, the prince has to brave the dragon and hundred-years nights to be reuntied with his dear one... All the ingredients of traditional fairy-tales are there. However, this time, the readers are the masters of the game and they can make their own story! This book must be handled in every direction!

In the village, there were rules, from father to son, mother to daughter and Mondays to Mondays. That was until the day Melina arrived, with her weird life and her caravans. She turned her classmates’ habits upside down. This book is about differences; what problems and joys they trigger.

The war has begun. Little by little, the men at the village have gone to the Front. At school, the children are thrilled by the patriotic speeches of their master. But now the time has come for him to go there as well. Now is the time of deprivations, expectations, letters, doubts and questions... This book teaches children how to grow up during wartime.

Amos’s father has come back home after two years in deportation. These were eight seasons or so. The family quietly gets used to having him back in silence. At school, the other children make fun of him, saying horrible things. So Amos fights against them, runs back from school and takes refuge at the top of his tree. “If you don’t come back down immediately, I’ll reach for you”, his father ordered. From that day on, Amos starts his life in the tree.

Mademoiselle Rosalie adore la pluie, Monsieur Gaston la déteste. Sous forme de dialogues de pièce de théâtre en rimes, ces deux personnages contradictoires vont finir par se retrouver.

Once upon a time, a lumberjack and his wife who did not have anything left to feed their seven children regretfully decided to lose them in the forest. Fortunately, the youngest of the family would not agree to that. Endowed with a powerful imagination, Tom Thumb is going to detail all the reasons why it is absolutely out of the question to go out in the forest. Outside, the trees look shifty and they are way better at home!
