making every film shown before 5pm open to under 18s.

PROMOTING WOMEN IN ADVENTURE

In 2015 we launched the Women In Adventure Network with a panel of directors & athletes

and an audience of 100 industry figures.

We doubled the number of films featuring female athletes and/or made by female directors and producers.

We created a new Best Women In Adventure Film prize. and appointed a Women in Adventure Film Judge.

We screened the BMC TV Women in Mountain Adventure

Film competition winner, and ran the

Lowepro and MyOutdoors Women in Adventure Photography

exhibition and competition.

The 2,000sq ft mezzanine Workstation is home to the ShAFF Exhibition and is Sheffield's leading business centre

Additional venues at Sheffield Hallam University provides 2-3 additional screens.

popular that we had to double the number of shows.

Last year we created two new programmes for the older primary school and teenage markets with Too Cool For

School and Teen Screen which also proved a hit.

Shows are held in the Creative Lounge, seating 100 children & parents, with free activities run by the YHA.

This package includes the option to brand the screening room and have the festival’s prime retail location at the

entrance as part of the Exhibition.

in bar including headline acts Screaming Maldini & Alvarez Kings. In 2015 DJ & producer Paul Hodgson (aka Grievous Angel) curated a special ShAFF films soundtrack.

*Costs are finalised when the programme is published in December and depend on number of screenings and repeat shows e.g. in 2015 we had 3 Running Film screenings each repeated twice.
