At the University there are two different types of administration offices, in each department there are: 1. the student office 2. the education department office 1. The student office is the administrative Office where information about enrolment in undergraduate or postgraduate programs is available. In addition, the staff help with online application related to:
• enrolment (1 year) • transfers, change of courses • application for graduation • single courses
2. The education department office is responsible for matters related to degree courses and provide information on orientation and mentoring; course programs; lesson timetables and locations; exam dates; training opportunities.
The Orientation service is designed for high school student to help them choose their future university career. The Tutoring service has done by students who are enrolled on master’s degree or phd programs. They are a reference point for the other students regarding any kind of problems. The Psychological Counselling is available to support students during difficult times at the university. The counselling service is free. The Legal Assistance Service is offered by University and it is a free legal advice to students to solve problems related to their period at the university. There are five university Libraries located in different departments. Totally, there are 220,000 books, mainly composed by monographic studies, journals and book series.
Unitus Job is a postgraduate service that helps students in the delicate phase of entering the job market and covers all aspects of this transition. Furthermore, this service helps the student to create a personal resume, to find internship, mentoring and project work. The Almalaurea service as a link between universities and businesses. Its aim is to help young people to enter into the job market. Part-time Employment. Students can be employed to carry out a job activity to support services of the university: libraries, laboratories, information and orientation services for students; support activities for disabled students and ADISU facilities. This employment is intended for students enrolled in undergraduate and master degrees of the University of Tuscia. Free Shuttle Bus. The service is free and connects the Rectorate with the other departments, the train station, the refectory and the student’s hostel.
The Student Portal is the web system that students can use without going to the student office. The portal can be accessed with a personal password. Through the portal it is possible to: modify personal details, fill out personal study plan, check personal administrative status, examine personal study record, book exams, fill in questionnaires. The Department’s Website includes all the details relative to a degree program: general information, regulations, career opportunities, the academic calendar, final degree exam date and the teaching guidelines. Unitus Webmail. The University of Tuscia offers its staff and students an e-mail address (@unitus.it and @studenti.unitus.it, respectively). The webmail is also for foreign students with their password and username. Furthermore with the UNITUS WI-FI, it is possible to connect and access to network services for staff and students by using a personal password.
Laziodisu is the Regional Agency for the Right to Education. The organization offers individual support and services for the benefit of all students. The main services offered are: • Scholarships that change in relation to the personal situation of the
applicant (i.e. students or staff); • Accommodation at the University Residences in Viterbo: in Piazza San
Sisto, 8 (65 beds) and in Via Cardarelli, 77 (162 beds). Only eligible students living outside the Province of Viterbo can benefit from the housing. Erasmus+ incoming students can also benefit from this accommodation since 68 beds are reserved for them;
• Refectory, in Viterbo, Piazza San Sisto offers a cheap daily meal to all students; • Health care is free at the student’s hostel every Monday; • Two computer rooms with free internet access at the student’s hostel; • Fitness room reserved for students living in Cardarelli and in San Sisto.

The University of Tuscia organizes many events during the year with the aim of promoting culture activities: • The University Concert Season in the Rectorate; • The Botanic Garden; • The Caffeina Festival (at the end of June until the first of
July) there are meetings with writers, journalists, readings, concerts, shows and exhibitions. The medieval quarter of Viterbo is transformed during this event.
The Erasmus+ Program is an important opportunity offered by the University to any student. The credits obtained in the Host University by following courses and taking exams will be recognized at the Home University. Erasmus+ is part of the European Community program for the mobility of students with 28 EU member States (Austria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia…) and three partners extra EU (Armenia, Georgia, Bosnia-Herzegovina). The mobility period for the extra EU students varies from 3 to 6 months. Grantees will be: Bachelor, Master, PhD students and Administration and Teaching Staff. It is very important that you have a basic knowledge of the Italian language, but when you arrive at our University you will attend Italian lessons. Erasmus+ offers the possibility of Internship during your mobility. These hours of Internship will be recognized like credits in your Home University, but a Learning Agreement must be signed before your departure.

The Ph.D. is the 3rd level of university education that can be accessed after master’s degree and it consist on a combination of learning and research activities.
The Experimental Farm “Nello Lupori” is located
500 metres away from the Agricultural faculties
(DAFNE and DIBAF).
Its purposes are:
• improvement of our students’ knowledge and promotion of the Academic research as well as technical and scientific activities;
• organisation of events and guided tours;
• contribution to the innovation and development of the agriculture and livestock farms;
• harvesting and sale of products;
• maintenance of the green areas of the University.
The Botanic Garden hostes a wide range of Italian and exotic plants. It offers: • support to the didactic and research activities; • possibility of gardening courses and training courses for
disabled persons; • possibility of guided tour. It also collaborates with: • the second level Master course in “Parks, Gardens and
Botanic Gardens Guardian”; • Banche del germoplasma (Germplasm Banks) whose aim is
the conservation of Italian spontaneous plants.
