The Pac-12 posted has posted a winning record outside league for 31 consecutive seasons . . . The Pac-12 recorded a 35-12 record in non-conference action last season, and is 72-21 in non-conference play the last two seasons.

OFFICIAL STATISTICS CORRECTION: The official stats for the Stanford-Notre Dame game have been cor-rected to award a rushing touchdown to Stanford RB Bryce Love. With 10:38 remaining in the fourth quarter, Love was tackled at the goal line where he apparently fumbled the ball, which was then recovered in the end zone by teammate JJ Arcega-Whiteside. After review, it was confirmed Love scored the touchdown before he lost the ball. However, the referee’s on-field explanation did not reflect that the touchdown should have been awarded to Love as the ball broke the plane of the goal line before it came loose.

DIVISION CHAMPIONS: With WASHINGTON (3-0) and WASHINGTON STATE (3-0) the lone remaining teams undefeated in Pac-12 play, it’s worth noting that no team has come through Conference play un-scathed since the league expanded to 12 teams. In four of the previous five seasons of Pac-12 play, the North Division champion finished Conference play with one loss. Only the 2013 season produced a North Division champion with more than one loss when Oregon and Stanford each finished tied at 7-2. While in the South Division, only once did the South Division produce a champion with less than two losses when ARIZONA STATE finished 8-1 in 2013.

POLL NOTES: WASHINGTON is the eighth different Pac-12 team to appear in the AP Top 10 over the last three seasons. Washington has been in the AP Top 10 for seven consecutive weeks, the longest stretch since it appeared in the last nine ranking periods during the 2000 season ... STANFORD dropped from the Top 25 on Oct. 10, ending a streak of 19 consecutive weeks in the poll. It also marked the first time that either OREGON, Stanford or USC has not been ranked in the AP Top 25 since Nov. 21, 1999. That was also the last time the Conference did not have a team ranked in the AP Top 25 ... On Oct. 2, COLORADO (No. 21) made its first appearance in the AP poll since 2005. It was the highest ranking for the Buffs since they were No. 17 the week of Sept. 7, 2003.

PUNT, PASS & KICK: UTAH junior P Mitch Wishnowsky leads the FBS in punting with a 49.1 average and has twice been named the national Ray Guy Punter of the Week. He’s placed 15 of his 31 punts inside the 20, and has not had a touchback since the first game of the season. Only one other punter in Conference history has averaged better than 49.0 yards per punt for an entire season (Kirk Wilson, UCLA, 1956, 49.3 avg) ... WASHINGTON sophomore QB Jake Browning leads the FBS in passing efficiency (204.9), while WASHINGTON STATE junior QB Luke Falk leads the FBS in completions per game (35.17) ... ARIZONA STATE senior PK Zane Gonzalez leads the FBS in field goals per game (2.71). Gonzalez keeps adding his name to the FBS record book. In addition to setting the FBS career field goal record (now at 92) during ASU’s win over UCLA (Oct. 8), he added 10 points at Colorado to set the FBS record for career points scored by a kicker. With 468 career points, he passed Florida State’s Dustin Hopkins (466, 2009-12). In the Colorado game, he tied an FBS record for most field goals made from 50+ yards with three (51, 50, 59). His 59-yarder established a school record and tied for the second longest in Pac-12 play.

FBS CAREER FIELD GOALS 1. Zane Gonzalez, Arizona State, 2013-16, 92 2. Dustin Hopkins, Florida State, 2009-12, 88

FBS CAREER SCORING BY A KICKER 1. Zane Gonzalez, Arizona State, 2013-16, 468 points 2. Dustin Hopkins, Florida State, 2009-12, 466 points

MAKING A POINT: Fourteen FBS teams are averaging 41.0 or more points per game through the first seven weeks of the season, three hail from the Pac-12 - No. 3 WASHINGTON (49.5 ppg), No. 12 CALIFORNIA (42.3 ppg), No. 14 WASHINGTON STATE (41.0 ppg). No other conference has more teams averaging better than 41.0 ppg than the Pac-12.

THE SCHEDULE: The non-conference schedules include 18 opponents that participated in a bowl game last season. In all, 11 Pac-12 teams will face a team that appeared in a bowl game last season with USC facing three such opponents ... The Pac-12 posted a 35-12 record in non-conference play in 2015 and is 72-21 in non-league action over the previous two seasons ... Each Conference team will play a nine-game league schedule that includes five games within its own division and four games in the other division. Teams with the best record in their respective divisions will meet in the Pac-12 title game on Friday, Dec. 2 (FOX) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

His final kick was a school-record 59-yarder that set a Folsom Field record as well. Gonzalez has six field goals of 50+ yards this season. The FBS season record for most 50+ yard field goals is 8 (Fuad Reveiz, Tennesse, 1982) ... Junior RB Matt Haack averaged 52.1 yards on 10 punts at Colorado, which included a career-long 76-yarder.

LAST MEETING (Nov. 1, 2015): Luke Falk threw for 497 yards (36-of-55) and 5 TDs as Washington State beat Arizona State 38-24 to become bowl-eligible for the second time in coach Mike Leach’s four years with the program. Dom Williams caught six passes for 123 yards and 2 TDs for Washington State (6-3, 4-2 Pac-12), which overcame a 14-0 first quarter deficit. ASU’s Mike Bercovici completed 27-of-44 passes for 229 yards and one score, while Demario Richard added 111 yards rushing and one TD.

OPEN DATE

USC: Freshman QB Sam Darnold completed 20-of-32 for 235 yards and a USC freshman single-game record 5 TDs in the 48-14 win at Arizona. In four starts, Dar-nold is 86-of-128 (.672) for 1,148 yards with 11 TDs and just one interception. His 137 rushing yards this season are the most by a USC QB since Reggie Perry’s 254 in 1991 ... USC rushed for 320 yards at Arizona, the most since getting 342 against San Jose State in 2009. Sophomore TB Dominic Davis posted an 85-yard run in the victory, which was the longest since LaVale Woods’ 96-yarder against Oregon State in 1996 ... The win at Arizona, which was the first not decided by eight or fewer points since 2006, was Clay Helton’s first road win since the interim tag was removed.

ARIZONA: Khalil Tate started for the Wildcats against USC and become the first true freshman to start at quarterback since Willie Tuitama in 2005. The 17-year old frosh has rushed for 184 yards and one TD in three games of action this season ... With three catches for 39 yards, senior WR Nate Phillips extended his streak of consecutive games with a reception to 40 games. It’s the fifth longest active streak in the nation ... The Cats are looking to avoid their fifth-straight loss. The last time the Cats lost five straight was in 2011 when they lost to three top 10 teams and road games at USC and Oregon State ... Arizona has used five different QBs this season.

PAC-12 BOWL ARRANGEMENTSThe Pac-12 is in the third year of a six-year agreement with seven bowl part-ners that should provide the Conference with a competitive postseason bowl experience. The lineup is led by the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwest-ern Mutual, which is the destination for the Pac-12 champion. In 2016-17, the Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl are slotted as the College Football Playoff semifinal games. If the Pac-12 champion is ranked among the top four of the College Football Playoff poll following the 2016 season and play in either the Peach or Fiesta Bowl, the Pac-12 would back-fill the Rose Bowl game.

* COLORADO’s Sefo Liufau and Steven Montez have earned Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors this season, becoming just the fifth time two different quarterbacks from the same team have won the honor in the same season. The others were 2014 - UCLA’s Jerry Neuheisel (9/15/14) and Brett Hundley (9/29/14); 2014 - Washington State’s Connor Halliday (10/6/14) and Luke Falk (11/10/14); 1998 - Arizona’s Ortege Jenkins and Keith Smith (shared honors on 10/3/98); 1992 - UCLA’s Rob Walker (9/19/92) and John Barnes (11/21/92).

** STANFORD’s Solomon Thomas is just the fourth Cardinal to earn Defensive Player of the Week twice in one season. He joins Trent Murphy (2013), John Lynch (1992) and Ron George (1991).

*** With four Special Teams Player of the Week honors this season, ARIZONA STATE’s Zane Gonzalez equals the mark for Special Teams Player of the Week honors in one season set by California PK Doug Brien in 1991.
