COVER MODELKELLEN FREEMANGETS DCDL INTO GAMESThis Check It Out’s cover model is circulation associ-ate Kellen Freeman. Kellen has been with DCDL since 2013 working primarily at the Delaware Main Library. He attended California University of Pennsylvania for his bachelor’s degree and is cur-rently finishing his master’s degree from Kent State Univeristy where he’ll graduate with his Master of Library and Information Science in May. Kellen is the mastermind behind DCDL’s table top gaming collection. He was first introduced to gam-ing by friends in college playing Settlers of Catan. After that, his loving of table top gaming grew. In the spring of 2014, Kellen began working on bring-ing circulating games to DCDL and they debuted a year ago in spring 2015. This year, he hopes to extend the table top games collection to have a set displayed at the Orange Branch Library.
