Aloha,As we wrap up 2019 and head into 2020, we can’t help but reflect upon what a successful year we’ve just had. We introduced two new award categories and handed out two Awards of Excellence and our 61st Annual Design Awards. We celebrated a milestone with the 20th Annual Pacific Building Trade Expo. We put on countless programs and events for both our members and the community at large. And we created three new working committees, including: Design for Risk and Resiliency; Equity, Inclusion, Diversity; and a Sponsorship Committee.

This very prospectus that you’re holding in your hands is a byproduct of our new Sponsorship Committee, which has spent a lot of time talking with our partners, vendors, and architecture firms to get to the core of what it is you’re looking to gain in exchange for support. Our vendors and suppliers want branding opportunities and, most importantly, access to architects and the opportunity to network with our members. Our firms are seeking quality programming and more opportunities for member engagement and professional development. Both groups wanted more clarity on the specific benefits of annual sponsorship.

To that end, you spoke, and we listened. We’ve redesigned our Annual Sponsorship Prospectus and clearly defined our tiered sponsor benefits, which includes everything from recognition in our member communications to the opportunity to customize messages at our various events. We’re continuing to enable sponsors to pick and choose which specific events and programs you’d like to support, whether it be Architecture Month, or our annual Kickoff Party!
