GIRL ACTIVITY GUIDE

We know this cookie season may look a bit different but our commitment to you is to find innovative ways for Girl Scouts to reach their goals while keeping them safe. We are working closely with GSUSA and Little Brownie Bakers to develop unique ways for everyone to participate at THEIR comfort level!

So have some fun with this interactive guide to learn about the Cookie Program and meet our new mascot!

There are lots of great reasons to participate in the Cookie Program:

1. Horse themed rewards! Check out pages 4-5 to see all of the fun items you can earn along the way!

2. Earn Dakota Dough! Dakota Dough is Girl Scout money that you can use in our retail services or to pay for events and membership.

MALANI These horses are rare. Malani horses are found in India and are famous for their perky, inward turned ears!

ZEBRA Did you know that the African Zebra is a type of horse? It’s considered a wild horse. Each zebra’s stripes are one-of-a-kind, like snowflakes!

BASHKIR CURLIES Pronounced BASH-CUR. These are easy to spot! This breed of horse has hair that is naturally curly. Sometimes, their tight curls turn into dreadlocks!

APPALOOSA Appaloosa horses are best known for their spotted coats, and they are found mostly in North America. Each horse has its own unique spot pattern.

MINIATURE HORSE A miniature horse is defined by its small height—usually less than 34 to 38 inches. Mini horses are so smart, that they can be house trained like dogs!

AKHAL TEKE Pronounced AH-CALL TEK-KEE. This breed has a dazzling coat that earned it the nickname “Golden Horse.” The Akhal Teke come from Turkmenistan, which is a country in central Asia.
