Cartridge and Bag Filter Units are the most commonly used units in the fi ltration of fl uids for Oilfi eld Services.

The units offer the fl exibility in a wide range of applications from polishing after DE (Diatomaceous Earth fi lter) to hydrocarbon removal.

The units can accommodate a wide range of cartridge and bag confi gurations depending on removal, fl ow, pressure and retention requirements.

Twin fi lter has also developed a combination unit, which offers the option of using fi lter cartridge and/or fi lter bags in the same unit without the need for tools, making it a “fi eld friendly” unit.

WHY FILTRATION?

Costs of environmental protection are key issues for oilfi eld operations. Effi ciency, reliability and maximum performance are of the utmost importance. The main concern in oilfi eld fi ltration is to prevent reservoir damage. Many contaminants can plug off the reservoir / production zones during completion and water injection. Twin Filter will protect the reservoir from contaminants, including bacteria, scale, clay, rust, etc.

Current environmental laws are becoming more stringent and are aiming for zero discharge. Many waste treatment technologies will not meet the discharge levels of the future.

Twin Filter offers a solution for the removal of more than 99% of all hydrocarbons and emulsions from water streams.
